We have been going for quite awhile now and have developed a friendship with her she is absolutely the best. When you go ask for her you won’t be disappointed. She is so friendly.

“I’m genuinely surprised at the amount of negative reviews. I ordered the ribeye with eggs and everything was cooked the way I wanted and the steak was really tender. My significant other also ordered a couple different big breakfast items and everything came out great. I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn’t mind the prices since everything exceeded my expectations for presentation and quality.“

“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

I walked into a warm welcome from the owner Margaret, who was also my server and she was such a sweet lady with a great personality. She was so friendly and great with all her customers and I sat there smiling the whole time. Buford's does not have a huge FB following with just over 1k followers but it is truly an Amazing Hidden 💎 Gem breakfast spot of Groton!❤️ I walked in the door ready to eat so I ordered and reviewed a couple popular menu items: 1. Western Omelet w/Home fries & wheat toast $13.00 💣 2. Buford's Big Breakfast w/pancakes $13.20 💣 The service and atmosphere of Buford's is very laid back, comfortable and when it comes to the food they don't disappoint! I started with the Western Omelet and I ate quite a bit of it because it was the bomb 💣 I knew that I couldn't finish all the food so I moved on to those fluffy delicious pancakes with two easy over eggs, Home fries, crispy bacon and sausage patty. It was all amazingly Dope and easily earned a bomb 💣 as well! I had an amazing experience at Buford's and I understand why the fans have shared great experiences dining there. “We had the most wonderful experience with Langley’s for our small, intimate wedding reception. The customer service was great from start to finish. The event manager Brian was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring our day went smoothly. The food was fantastic and we received rave reviews from our guests. The team went above and beyond by setting up our decorations exactly as we envisioned, making the space look beautiful. They were also very accommodating and willing to work with us in case we needed to move our outdoor ceremony indoors, as well. “I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we just had at this place. we went for brunch today. the three of us decided to try the bloody specials they had.. all truly unique. one was Italian with meat and cheese. there was a seafood one with ceviche and shrimp cocktail and the last was one with 2 large pork bellies on the side.. amazing!! we ordered 3 different entrees so we could all share. the smoked salmon frittata. wow! smokey..light.. creamy.. so perfect. next were chicken and mushroom crepes. holy crap! unbelievable!! the last was a steak sandwich where the beef just fell apart! outstanding! my friend had asked about a menu item that had been previously on the menu that she loved and they went out of their way to make it for us!! our dessert was a mimosa with purple corn and cinnamon.. unlike anything I have ever had before! A perfect end to an amazing meal! I can't say enough good things about this place! thank you! and I can't wait to come back for dinner!“

“Finally a Wood n Tap near me. Called to reserve a table, guy on phone said I had to go online but had no idea where. I said Open table? He had no clue but did apoligize. Cant do it on Open table but I did look on there website and was able to do it there. Came and it was very busy on a Tues and im so glad I made a reservation. Because we had a reservation we were seated right away. No wait at all. We ordered beef nachos to start and they were good. Then we ordered steaks, spinach/ artichoke flatbread, wings and a burger. I got the flatbread and it tasted just like the dip on bread but it was a tad burnt but I liked it. The steaks were on the smaller sidd and a little overcooked than Medium like requested but I didnt hear any complaints. The wings must of been good because my son didnt want to share which led to some table conflict but my daughter was able to steal one. Lol. The service was slow but expected with this much busyness but she got us everything we needed and she was pleasant. I did look for accessibility for a wheelchair and was able to find some tables in the back and some half booth/half tables that would work. The tables also look accessible being wide legged. Was happy to see that. So many restaurants miss the mark on that one. When I sat down the waitress moved my walker so it wouldn't be in the way. Was a nice evening, busy, tad loud but happy chatter. Id go again. You can go online and see what everydish looks like and you can also sign up for their rewards. So I signed up for a 5 dollar off, showed the code to the waitress and she never used it. Wasnt going to complain over 5 bucks with the busyness. Ill use it next time.“

“01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “First time visit. Totally awesome food. Quiche was phenomenal! Cranberry-Walnut bread (toasted and buttered) terrific. Staff was very friendly, accommodating. They sell mini baked pies, breads and other baked goods on the premises. The restaurant setting with views on the river was perfect. In warm weather, there is a covered deck to enjoy the river view even better. It's open today with Mother's Day specials. I'll be back again soon even though for me it's a 40-minute drive.“
