“Riverview Restaurant in Moosup, CT, easily earns four stars, thanks to its standout feature--the great prime rib! The quality and flavor of the prime rib make it a must-try for any meat enthusiast. While there's always room for improvement, the exceptional prime rib experience at Riverview Restaurant solidifies its four-star rating.“
“Ordered our pizza on line. We haven't ordered from Wauregan Pizza in a couple of years. We lost power this evening at dinner time. We placed our order and Door dash had our order here 10 minutes early. Our pizza smelled like breakfast, maple flavored bacon! We were more than delighted! Will definitely order again.“
“The Taco Pizza was insanely good, and surprisingly not messy at all. They've got it down for sure. You will search far and wide to find such as delicious a slice as Longos has to offer all to come up short. Do yourself a favor and stop by.“
“From the outside this place looks like every other regular old town pizza place, and even on the inside as you enter. First impressions do not do it justice though. We have now, over the past several months, been to this fabulous little restaurant several times and will continue to go. On our first visit we ordered pizza and calamari. Both were excellent. On subsequent visits we have ordered several dishes... fish and chips (excellent!), daily specials, salads (the in house garlic dressing is to die for), soups, and a few other things. The food is *always* fresh, served quickly, and delicious. On one occasion we tried to order fried chicken, but they said that it was no longer available because the quality of the chicken from their supplier did not meet their standards. We were told, "if we don't like it we don't serve it. Sorry." Judging from everything that we have eaten here, I believe every word. The service is more than just service. You are made to feel like you are among their favorite people, as if you are welcome in their family. It's a place for locals to gather and chat, even among other tables and visitors. It's warm and friendly, and everybody that enters is treated as a "local". One of our favorite spots.“
“Okay, I will publicly admit I've been living under a rock, because I never even heard of this place until the afternoon of February 18, 2024. We sat down at a table for four in the room with the TV's (my nephew's request), and we looked at out menus. I was torn between choosing what burger or mac and cheese dish to go for, but after trusting my intuition, I went with the Fried Luigi burger. The red onions and fried egg really make this burger a taste sensation takes your taste buds for a ride on the Flavor Town Express. That's the best description I can come up with, so fi you love your burgers with fried eggs, you'll love this.I love seeking out places that have tasty burgers in my travels, whether it's a food truck or a restaurant, and I can now add New York Pizza Company to my list. Also the nacho chips and cheese dip were equally delicious. I said, "I wish I was an octopus with two heads and a second stomach!" I wanted to snarf down everything on my plate, it was sooo darn good!! The icing on the cake was waddling like a stuffed penguin back to the car, as I was left full and satisfied. Bottom line: If you haven't been to New York Pizza Company, come check it out, your tummy and your taste buds will be glad you did.“
“I was in Dayville and I was starving. I stopped into Railside Tavern and loved the welcome and the look. Huge menu, lots of seafood, beef, and pasta choices, big plus, angel hair is an option. I got the chicken picata w/ angel hair, lots of capers, no artichoke hearts. Served very hot, juicy with plenty of lemon sauce, I liked it, chicken was slightly over cooked. I then had a cup of lobster bisque, it was very good, great broth and lots of ground lobster, no chunks but obviously lots of ground lobster, yummy! For desert I had the special offering of apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Of course, awesome!! If you're in the area or passing through, definitely check out Railside Tavern, I'm still happily stuffed!!“
“I'm not going to lie, I'm kicking myself for sleeping on Weidels for so long. I've ordered here a couple of times in the past but never got pizza for some reason. The food was always good but nothing to write about. But that's my fault for not ordering pizza at a pizza place. Today my husband and I ordered a large Anchovies (Judge me all you want, it's delicious) pizza and an order of fries. It was SO good. The pizza has the right amount of crust to sauce to cheese to toppings ratio, and the fries are thick hand cut style. The pizza is a tad greasy but honestly that's kind of a plus in my book. The fries - Chewy and soft with the slightest crunch, my favorite kind. I need to come back more often.“
“Pizza CT just became our local go-to place for pizza. The owner is warm and accommodating, and I love that you can see the workers making the pizza in-house before it goes into the oven = Full transparency! Bought a handful of pizzas for a party recently, and they received raving reviews all around, even from the most picky eaters. Will be coming back for more!“
“Had Sunday dinner here GREAT food. Server was GREAT. Entree meal was large enough to take home for another lunch.Parking: Flat lot 30-37 spots. Busy.Kid-friendliness: Family place. Kids seemed happy in there.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is flat. Small ramp to restaurant.“
“So I finally decided to order some food after driving by multiple times over this past year and always seeing the parking lot packed. All I can say is wow I finally found a place with pizza better than what I use to love from this restaurant that went out of business in my area. Wished I stopped by sooner lol.“
“Gus' Pub and Pizzarama in Plainfield, CT, holds a special place in my heart with their amazing grinders. These have been my go-to since childhood, and the consistency in quality is commendable. While there may be other aspects to consider, the nostalgic and delicious experience of their grinders solidifies Gus' Pub and Pizzarama as a reliable choice, earning it a well-deserved four stars.“
“The first time I visited, I spent the whole night on the can! Fast forward five years... I came with a couple of coworkers, and this time, the food did not give me the runs! The staff was friendly and fun. The food is what you'd expect from a pizza joint that many locals frequent. Quick, flavorful, and kinda not good for you! All the best pizza joint attributes!“
“D&G Pizza & Pub in Canterbury, CT, easily earns a well-deserved four stars for its trifecta of excellence - good food, a great bar, and exceptional service. The menu boasts tasty options, with a special nod to the outstanding poutine. The inviting bar adds to the overall appeal, and the standout feature remains the exceptional service, making it a go-to spot for a delightful dining experience.“
“Dave Portnoy came to the wrong Pizza place on Main street. This pie is eons ahead of NY Pizza Company!!! When me and my wife were still together she would always shame me for getting pizzaz for dinner. Well now I have zero regrets about the divorce, I'm glad I cheated. Cause this pizza was worth it. Thanks Pizza Pizzaz, thanks.“
“Love this Lil restaurant. Was out there for work an we stopped there for lunch. Great waiter really made sure we were takin care of. I had ceaser salad with grilled chicken was delicious. Few folks had the parmasan sandwich and it was huge. Looked good.“
“I couldn't believe our waitress brought over a cart full of coloring supplies, games, and toys for my boys to play with! Food was great and the staff was very nice!Kid-friendliness: Although it's BYOB for adults (which i found a little odd) it is still very kid-friendly. There are a few arcade games available to keep kids busy, and our waitress pulled out a cart full of coloring supplies and games. My boys had a blast playing Jenga while waiting for our food!“
“What a amazing find. Not only great prices drink specials as well as happy hour (something very much missed in rhode island) but amazing locals and bartender. Drinks right away and a pleasant time. Will visit again 10/10. (My partner loves the pizza) thanks chef.“
“I had the Thursday special Meatloaf. It was very good. Plenty of food for left overs. Wish they would put a hot vegi with it though. Also, ordered the Chef Salad. Again it was enough plus left overs. The only concern was no dressing options listed on line so was delivered with none. We would order from them again!! Thanks.“
“Check ORDERS!!! New line cook! Asked for No onions (allergies) and had them! Should be working on it! Other than that... it's great been going for Years! Great place, Neat Menu!! $$ Friendly! Loved the old owners and new ladies nice however doesn't do the walk around food check, if there. For the price.“
“I do take out from Johnny's at least once a week and we think it is great. My wife and I love the marinara sauce to dip her chicken tenders and my French Fries in. I always get a Chicken Parm Sandwich which I truly enjoy. My wife gets the the Chicken tenders and a small basic salad and she always enjoys both. My son always get the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which he loves. Always great services by Julia and all the cooks and owner are super friendly. Highly recommend!!“
“I had a gyro plate with Greek salad instead of French fries. The gyro meat was well seared, a bit crunchy. The tdziki sauce was lacking however, no shredded cucumber to speak of, no garlic, no dill. The waitress was excellent and prompt, with good suggestions. The restaurant was pretty clean.“
“My experience at Pizza Pizzazz in Moosup, CT, was decent. The grinders, especially the Philly cheesesteak, are my go-to choice and consistently tasty. The highlight was surprisingly the baklava, offering a pleasant sweet note. However, the overall experience was just okay, with room for improvement in terms of ambiance and service. 4 stars for the satisfying grinders and delightful baklava, but with hopes for enhancements in other aspects.“
“Ordered takeout for the first time tonight! It was about 20 minutes, the food was HOT HOT even when I got home. We ordered carnitas tacos, cantina especial, and kids chicken tacos. All of it tasted good and had soft, juicy, and flavorful meat. The cantina special was a little messy but overall the refried beans mixed in with that sauce was definitely super good.My carnitas were very juicy and the salsa verde was actually spicy which I loved! My daughter who is picky liked the chicken tacos as well and ate most of the rice!We will definitely be coming back as the price, portion size, and quality were all good!Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures cause we were all so hungry, until next time!“
“What a great place to meet and enjoy our Book Club meeting. Waitress, Gail, is just a delight, so attentive and Friendly!! Food was really good and nice portions!!We’ll be back!!Vegetarian options: Veggie wrap was Yummy, served alongside of Sweet Potato Fries!!??“
