Just okay. First time eating here, on a weekday night. Food was very average. I ordered a crispy chicken bowl. The chicken was tasteless and a bit greasy. The rice was barely warm. The veggies were okay. Nothing special. My companion had a burger. She said it was pretty greasy, and overloaded with sauce. I guess another patron may enjoy that though. Food and service was very good! The Kale salad had an amazing flavor! The Veggie burger was delicious. The ribs and vegan bowl were also good! The steak was a bit overcooked, that was our only complaint. We got to play some pinball after dinner!

Gates has seriously upped its game! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised after a recent visit, a major upgrade from our experience a couple years back. The service was noticeably better, attentive and friendly, and the food? We devoured our bowls – I can still taste the freshness of the tuna in mine – and left feeling happy and satisfied. If you haven't been back in a while, give Gates another try – you might be in for a delightful surprise!
