“My family and I were visiting family in Norwalk and were referred to Greens on the Go in New Canaan. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the Spring Bowl with Tofu, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the Pitaya Island and it was an absolute must-try – such a delightful treat! The owner, Alyssa, is very friendly and was an absolute pleasure to meet. Her warm hospitality made our visit even more special. If you're in the area, Greens on the Go is definitely worth a visit. We will be back for sure!“

“I’ve found it. The best way to blow through a paycheck over a single breakfast. Espresso and a pastry for $15…. But, somehow, I think I’ll be coming back. Love the communal atmosphere with great big heavy wooden tables and chairs. A number of 4 and 6 tops as well. Bright and airy open feel make this a lovely warm atmosphere to share a delicious espresso and pastry. Espresso was quite tasty but unfortunately served in a tiny paper cup - I guess I should have specified I was eating in. Nice nuttiness and a subtle bitterness and right up my alley. There were so many amazing looking pastries on display i really struggled to decide how to put back on all of the calories I just lost on my Peloton but eventually landed on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissant. And - holy smokes - it did not disappoint. The thing must weigh 8 ounces due to it being stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough and a plethora of incredibly delicious molten chocolate. Incredibly naughty and delicious. Great spot to stop in for a pastry but they also have a larger menu with salads and breakfast specialties in addition to their lovely baked goods. Unreal!!“

“314 Beer Garden was amazing for my 40th high school reunion. Jackie worked with me on a layout and prices that were amazing. George was there to oversee the food that we had ordered and was extremely attentive. The bartenders that we had that night in our area were amazing and personable. And last, but not least the kitchen staff pumped out great food which everybody enjoyed. The fire was roaring and the band was amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend!“

“They let you bring your dogs indoors while you drink and snack on food!!! That alone deserves a 5 star. Our guess was that because they opt to prepare food outside and keep drinks inside, they would create this paradise for dog owners.

We ended up getting delicious fried chicken, double patty bacon burger, onion rings, and a fruity alcoholic drink.

Bathroom was spotless and service was relatively fast and food delicious. Definitely a great place to bring your furry family member while you snack on a treat.“

“Loved this brewery!! Cute, clean space. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty. We have a CT beer passport book that brought us there. Parking lot was a good size and easily accessible. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Seating was open and they served you at the table. A handful of beers on tap with a mix of options. They have a full menu and my boyfriend and I had the tacos - chicken and pulled pork, which were both delicious! Great sized portions. We also loved their logo, super cute design. I would love to see their space busier on a Saturday afternoon! If you drive by, consider stopping by for some great vibes.“

“This place RULES! The decor and vibe are on point - straight up modern chic done just right. Think urban brick, wood, industrial metal chic. Nicolette is very friendly and a great conversationalist who loves talking about the beers and is very knowledgeable. The beers are absolutely stellar. We did two IPA flights and they all had their own unique deliciosity. The bar stools are actually comfy (rare for me cuz I have a bony bottom). They also have live music, are family friendly, and have clean chic bathrooms!“

“I stopped by Caribbean Bakery & Mini Mart for dinner and went straight for their oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The plate was huge, and you could smell the seasoning before it even hit the table. The oxtail was flavorful, tender, and coated in a rich sauce that really pulled the dish together. The rice was fluffy, the peas earthy, and everything had that authentic homemade Caribbean taste.

If I had one wish, it would be for the oxtail pieces to be a little meatier — because the flavor had me wanting more. Portion-wise though, they don’t skimp, and everything tasted fresh.

Service was straightforward, the spot has that local charm, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving real Caribbean flavor in the area. One heads-up: parking can be tough, especially earlier in the day, so plan ahead.
