“There is no other restaurant in northern CT that makes me more excited to visit than Germains. Every single item on the menu is incredible, all of the weekly specials are sensational and the entire staff is friendly, helpful and take pride in the service they provide. Germains is the template of how the modern breakfast, brunch, family owned restaurant should be run. Prices are fair, the website is always updated and the team is not afraid to delve into unique and exciting creations for the foodies of the world. Let me put it like this… when Jesus held the last supper I would not have been surprised if he was serving Germains catering. If I was a convict on death row I would very very much consider a Germains special to be my last meal. If I were to describe a perfect day it would be a Germains breakfast sandwich, a round of golf, a Germains lunch wrap followed by an afternoon on the lake. This place is incredible! 11/10 recommend and thank you for all you do! My only ask is maybe consider opening on Sundays 😉“

“Good afternoon folks! With Starbucks in Avon closed for construction, I’ve been a the hunt for a new coffee place. Yesterday, I tried Coffee Trade for the first time. I was beyond impressed. The coffee was delicious and made with on site roasted beans. The prices are extremely reasonable, way cheaper than Doms or any competing shops. They had countless exciting flavors, I want to attempt to try them all. The atmosphere was so great and unique. And, the employees are truly fantastic and helpful. It’s hard nowadays to find a business with strong morals and sense of community. I felt immediately welcomed at Coffee Trade. I went back today and once again was impressed. If you haven’t tried this place yet and are a true coffee lover, it’s worth a visit. Their outdoor patio is also lovely and great to spend a relaxing morning. I’ll be sure to be back and make this part of my regular routine. My only regret is not trying it sooner 😂“

“Overall it was great! Checking in despite not having a clear reservation was easy the service was excellent! The lady and man up there were so kind. The cats were not to social and would either show a ton of affection or some would ignore you but to be fair it was when they first opened and they are cats. Of course they wont be social lol. The drink i got was the coffee it was (in my opinion) not the best! The cakepop was okay.. I still ate it! ^_^ I got barely scratched but to be fair IT WAS MY FAULT!!! Lilly and a big cat were not having it with eachother and i tried to distract the big cat and he pawed at me. OVERALL: I would definitely recommend this place more early with kids. Cause if you do it later the cats may not be having it with them 😮😮 The cats were adorable and sweetie pies awheee“

“I went into Giv for the first time this morning to pick up some whole bean coffee, have an Americano, and experience a proper cafe/roaster for the first time. The staff were incredibly friendly and really seemed to be enjoying the work that they were doing, which made the whole atmosphere super welcoming. I ordered an Americano which was incredible, and looking around definitely gave me confidence that the other drinks were equally good. They have a good selection of whole coffee beans and I really appreciated that they had some pour over gear from Hario (Switch and V60 kits, plus filters). Being able to pick those up locally and support a local business rather than Amazon is a huge plus. 10/10, I hope to become a regular there.“

(and the surrounding areas)The breakfast sandwiches are delicious, the staff are all super friendly, the service is quick and efficient and the shop is always clean. I give then a 10 out of 10! They are always friendly, and I’m more impressed as they know how I like my coffee. “The tall blond one was very nice to me and even respectfully told me to leave my dog outside while I got ice cream, he perfectly tended to me and my dog even though the dog had to wait outside. In the end both me and my dog loved the flavors the S’mores was amazing (please never get rid of this flavor) and my dog loved the Sweet potato pup cup .“

“I tried the Oreo Matcha beverage this morning and it could definitely use more flavor. Instead of 2 shots of vanilla, 2 matcha, whole milk, marshmallow cold foam and Oreo cookie crumbles. Overall, it was super watered down and did not really taste the Oreo. Next time I will add extra vanilla, matcha powder, and cookie crumbles.“

“I went to this location tonight, before heading to Sundown and I was impressed. Im used to the Hartford Dunkins where they mess up your order and decide to give you what they think you should have vs what you request and pay for. My tea was made perfectly how, I wanted it. I will be back when I go back to sundown. The lady at the window was nice too! Nothing was burned or a soggy mess. So whoever was working the sandwich station on 4/11 at around 11-1130…. You’re awesome! The girl at the front counter was very nice as well.“

They made my drinks quick and they did not waste anytime, this is the type of service I expect anywhere management be proud of the great men these young boys are becoming.
