I enjoyed my crepe today and the pricing is great.
We drove 80 miles to see a concert, and were so happy to sneak into Crepes Choupette moments before closing time. The gentleman working solo welcomed us in and basically gave us personal chef service. As he masterfully crafted our meals, he sang along (perhaps subliminally) to the beautiful French music that seemed to inspire his culinary creations! Based on the reviews, CHOUPETTE is a lovely French style cafe that serves both sweet and savory crêpes. The food is excellent, with flavorful mushroom crêpes, delicious smoked-salmon omelets, and great coffee. The savory crepe used a whole wheat batter and was very filling. The ambiance is cute, with French music playing that makes customers feel like they are somewhere else entirely. The vibe is good, and it is a great spot for chilling out, reading, or doing some work. The owner is very nice. The restaurant also catered a bridal shower, where the crepes were delicious. Street parking is a bit of a pain, and the bathroom is a journey down a long, winding hallway, but neither would deter a return visit.
