The food is always made fresh right in front of you. William and Freddy are both friendly and excellent at what they do! Highly recommend!
My favorite sandwiches in New Haven. Been eating here for five years (shop used to be on Crown Street). A little bit pricy, but a good value for the quality, which I think is unmatched locally. Very nice man running this place. Takes a little time for orders, but it's so worth it when you see how much care has been put into each sandwich.
The sandwiches are pricy, but the rueben us seriously the best I’ve ever had anywhere ever.

Meat & Co. is a highly recommended sandwich shop with a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu may be limited, but the options are cooked to order and made with fresh ingredients. Standouts include the tuna melt and ribeye steak sandwich, both made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection on panini grills. The service is amazing, with a clean and efficient kitchen. While there may not be many vegetarian options, there's something for almost everyone at this great find that won't break the bank.
