“01.30.25 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' featuring Apathy- The Dutch Tavern 23 Green St ❤️ City of New London, CT ❤️ I ordered and reviewed their Cheese Steak Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Red Potato Salad. Apathy had a Cheeseburger with Red Potato Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup. The big question is, "How was this Spot"?👎🏾👍🏾💣 Well I was pleasantly surprised that the place was booming when we walked in, I loved the whole atmosphere, the Owner and cook named Tim was very talkative and friendly to my Brotha Apathy and I. To top it all off he served us both delicious sandwiches👍🏾👍🏾, potatoes salad👍🏾 and broccoli and cheddar soup👍🏾. The Dutch Tavern is a great little spot, a hidden gem in the City of New London and I am glad that I finally found it!! You really need to get your *as down there Right away!👍🏾😏 Thanks Dutch Tavern! “I found this little pub while I was on a date on my birthday. The atmosphere and crowd was pretty decent. most of all, I love the fact that they do live performances. Unfortunately for me the person who I was with wasn't feeling the music and wanted to leave. Honestly, I should've ditched her ass instead and vibe out with another chick that night (something that my gut feeling was screaming at me to do). If I ever get another opportunity come to this pub, I might just change the star rating.“

“First time in New London and the food was absolutely amazing. I received excellent service. She was friendly and kind and gave recommendations. The view was beautiful and the breeze felt amazing while eating this delicious meals. I’d definitely come back!“

“Our server was Caitlin! She was awesome! My 2 sons and I went out to dinner and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had anywhere! She was training Richardo and the duo was top notch! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating with our substitutions. They never let us run out of drinks, they kept our table clean and the friendliness and patience She had with my kids ordering for themselves was admirable! I will definitely be back and hopefully be able to have her at my server again.“

“01.06.25 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant Es Tu Casa 'Mi Casa' (Is your home my home) in the City of New London? 🤷🏾♂️ Well I am sure that I will be back for more delicious Mexican food. I gave them two 👍🏾👍🏾 due to serving me two amazing meals this evening! I will be honest and admit that the prices are a little bit "heavy" compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area but overall I really enjoyed my meals and the atmosphere at Mi Casa's a lot! “Everything was Great!! I walked in expecting good service and good food and I walked out a happy customer. I ordered the bbq and the j*** sauce wings, It was amazing!! I was actually licking my fingers because the sauce was sooo good. I must add the decor was beautiful. It looked so elegant on first encounter and I found myself talking about it during my whole dinner. You won't regret eating at favorites. I promise you, I will be a regular over there.“
