“Was very busy in the a.m. due to the St. Patrick’s Day parade ☘️ but barista was calm & very pleasant despite the long line. Great artsy vibe for all ages. Chai Latte was perfectly made! Worth stopping in if you’re passing through the area!Parking: Parking was difficult due to the parade but there is parking at a grocery store a short distance away.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly.“
“Made a quick stop here for Dinner. Food quality was excellent. Good portion sizes for entrees and appetizers. Service staff were friendly and quick to help with any questions. Place had a decent ambiance. Overall good experience with food and service.“
“Iced chai tea and hot coffee were the best my wife and I have ever had. We also each got a Thai salad, which is amazing even without the dressing that come with it!! Lastly, the gluten free (and vegan!) chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies were phenomenal! Staff was happy to help with any questions we had about allergens in the food and everything was ready in less than five minutes. The little outside seating area was cute and the location was easy to get to, but far enough away from the noise on the main strip of stores.Dietary restrictions: They have clearly labeled gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options. Staff also has easy access to a book with all allergy information for all menu items.“
“Went here on a date with my girlfriend. Kristen and TJ were our servers and so helpful and kind, amazing service and atmosphere! Some of the best food I've ever eaten! It's worth every penny! If you are ever in Mystic, CT, I highly recommend this place with every fiber of my being. I got their grilled salmon special, and it was the best salmon I have ever had. It's so good that if I wasn't so full after having it(which is one of the best signs of good food), I would've gone for seconds. Check this out if you love seafood and even if you don't! ???“
“Can only comment on a few items... Buttery smooth lattes with the Canyon Coffee they use. Great Chicken Salad sandwich! Really good Rotisserie Chicken and sides. Drip coffee is really good too. Egg sandwich is a tad bland, but solid. Staff is always really friendly.“
“MY GOSH. I’m GF and this place was SO. GOOD. Here visiting my husband and I was blown away by the fact we could get authentic Chinese food that not only was AMAZING but also safe for me. That’s so rare! I love this place and I wish I lived here just so I could make it a weekly thing!“
“They do a juice cleanse which is phenomenal. It is really well thought through. I have never fasted before and am presently finishing my last green juice on my third day, before the grand finale of the cashew mylk drink, and I feel like I have really done something worthwhile. The rest of the menu is also great, and the people are friendly.Vegetarian options: There’s only a couple things that are not vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Anyone can eat here.Kid-friendliness: It’s great for kids.“
“Great little bakery for a quick scone, muffins & fabulous cupcakes! Outside window pickup only until the warm weather comes. I got the last strawberry, chocolate chip scone with a chai latte & delicious as always!Parking: You can park in back of building if you are just taking it to go!“
“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! To start, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is inviting and clean. The wonderful people that work and run things are amazing with our kiddos and the service has been stellar. I literally can’t name one thing that has gone wrong since we started making this our regular stop and I don’t expect there to be one in the future.“
“The Fisherman is our go to for date night, the servers and managers are so personable and the food is great! Zach, the head chef, went the extra mile to come say hi and ask us how our specials were. Their jumbo coconut shrimps are one of our favorites, and the home made pickles on their burgers are some of the best I’ve had. This is worth the few extra miles to the water front, and definitely the place to be for outdoor dining when the patio is available!“
“Went here twice. One night for dinner and the next day for breakfast. Breakfast food was better than dinner food.Great menu though, lots of choices/options.Waitresses were great at both meals very nice and efficient. The night we went to dinner, the ATM machines were down and they were only taking cash. We were fine with us but should have been told to us before we were seated and the waitress took our drink orders and said, “oh by the way…”.I gave it a 4/5 because of the overall cleanliness especially in the bathroom. I used the restroom earlier in the meal and let someone know if the concerns. When my family went at the end of the meal, the concerns were not addressed and when it was mentioned again, it did not seem important to the staff person who was less than friendly about the concern being brought to her attention.“
“The Mexican food here is Top quality and the best prices I've ever seen for gourmet Taco places in all of Connecticut, it's cheaper and better than Moe's and all the others out there, this place is spot on with the freshest ingredients and if you call in its done by the time you there and you will be happy with the total price $4 a Fat Taco $ 8 for Monster burritos etc. Gotta get down here people“
“Delicious hot lobster roll! The ambiance is wonderful. As a visitor to Connecticut, they made me feel right at home and recommended all kinds of places for me around Mystic. Yahtzee behind the bar was so gracious and sweet. It’s a must stop in town for a bite and a brew!“
“We have been coming to Muddy Waters Cafe for last couple of years every Sunday. The atmosphere is lively ( college & Coast Guard students ) and although usually crowded, the line moves quickly. Great egg sandwiches on fresh bagels, pastries, sandwiches and salads. Tomato soup is delicious. The back deck is wonderful to watch activity in the harbor and Amtrack trains. Hopefully it will reopen soon after a fire in their basement . The employees are friendly and very efficient. Totally recommend if in New London.“
