“What a nice place! Hidden gem. I drive by this restaurant almost on a weekly based and finally had a chance to have a nice dinner with my girlfriends yesterday. Food is amazing, drinks were fantastic and our waitress was super nice. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is about 8 years old but building itself was established in 1757. It’s like dining at the museum. Loved it!“

“This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food) The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!“

“We took my dad there just last nite for father’s day he and I got the prime rib. It was excellent so tender and juicy just cooked to perfection. My mom had the southwest salad with chicken which she loved and my boyfriend had steak tips. Great food, our waitress was awesome, and great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back there!!!!“

“We checked in for a funeral for a couple of days. Tried to pay for an upgrade. They said the floors higher then 12 were closed. It was fine. 12th floor was perfect. Our first room AC was broken and the Manager moved us a couple of doors down right away. So so sweet. It was cool in no time. Sonya at the front desk was very nice. The parking when we arrived was very confusing. We called when we arrived to figure out where to go. Take a right on church in the public garage. Then there is a door straight into the hotel lobby. No valet yet. They have plenty of snack and lite bite options at the front desk for purchase. Their restaurants are still not open. This was not an inconvenience at all. Completely understand. The hotel is a tad bit dated. But I would 100% stay here again. Easy to get to restaurants and within walking distance or an Uber ride. We didn’t use the gym, pool or business center. The room was really clean when we arrived too. Which is great. Thanks Hilton.“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “Sister’s is a small and cozy neighborhood cafe located in the north end of Hartford that feels very homey. Great food, good vibes, and friendly service. The menu is a blend of Jamaican and Black American comfort food. I started to get the ackee and salt fish but stuck with an old southern favorite my grandma used to make. The fish and grits with a side of eggs didn’t disappoint! The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly and the grits were buttery and soft. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town.“

“the chicken sandwich was pretty good. the vread was fresh it was seasoned well. but they must and I mean must leave making collard greens alone. it's cool, it's not for everyone. They had no seasoning and whoever made them cut none if tge "veins" stems out“
