“Have been a few times, once for lunch after the Niantic 5K, and also for dinner on two occasions. Chef Rachel is always coming up with great dishes, I've never had a tapas or main I didn't enjoy here. Overall, one of my favorite shoreline spots.“

“This is currently a restaurant as the upper floor where the guest rooms are is not yet open. The restaurant was amazing! I had the most incredible bowl of chicken chili and then pork tostadas that were delicious. My spouse had the tuna nachos and spinach salad with steak that was equally wonderful. The servings were as beautiful as they were delicious. Our server was great, attentive and helpful. The host was a lovely local woman who shared lots of interesting history about the building (incredible) and surrounding grounds. We ate in the dining room with a beautiful view of the ocean and romantic background music and peeped into the bar where there was live music and lots of folks having a good time. We highly recommend for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.“

The event manager Brian was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring our day went smoothly. The food was fantastic and we received rave reviews from our guests. The team went above and beyond by setting up our decorations exactly as we envisioned, making the space look beautiful. They were also very accommodating and willing to work with us in case we needed to move our outdoor ceremony indoors, as well. “I have eaten at most of the restaurants in Southeastern CT, and have found that LA LUNA RISTORANTE & LOUNGE in New London is head and shoulders above the rest! The menus is diverse, and food and drinks are always good and presented professionally. The dining atmosphere is pleasant with table cloths, and low lighting on each table. Plus they have live music on most Fridays from 6-9 pm. Try them out...you won't be disappointed!“

“Disappointing. Not the friendly service you expect from Panera. I have been going here for years, and they changed all the recipes for the worse. The soufflés are not soufflés. They are puff pastry with scrambled eggs. The puff pastry is touch and doesn't cook well. Their baguettes used to be authentic. Now, they are a loaf of bread. The quality if the turkey has gone down. No more metal utensils. It is almost impossible to cut a soufflé with their cheap plastic knife. They don't check their coffee levels and they run out constantly. Complaints to the manager did nothing. You'd not hear the word thank you anymore. They don't ask for your pabeta rewards card. They don't ask if you want to use your rewards. They charge you the wrong amount. This can't all be the fault of the cashier. Where is the manager? I could go on.

Kid-friendliness: I have always brought my kids here, but they don't have anything geared towards kids. Beware of the highly caffeinated teas.“
