“Charlies Place Restaurant is a decent family style restaurant (with associated bar lounge) with an extensive menu and lots of weekend specials. We were here for dinner, and had the greek dinner special + the prime rib special. Both had generous portions, tasted good, and were served promptly on a busy weekday evening. A good choice if interested in a traditional family restaurant.“

“My wife and I went here for one of the stops on our honeymoon. The golf cart ride from the remote parking lot was relaxing. We had a water front seat It was absolutely breathtaking. “I couldn't wait to eat the salad before I took the picture. Their salad dressing is addictive. The cauliflower usually comes with buffalo, but I prefer their tahini. The chicken schwarma platter is so big that we end up sharing it. They also have plenty of vegan options that are spectacular. They make the best falafel that I have ever tasted!“

“I went to sneakers after thy first opened and loved it . I went back several times, always awesome!! Time past , things changed for me and I hadn’t been in years. My grandson loves music, especially Dan Watson. Recently we saw that he was going to play at sneakers so we took him. I am so sad we hadn’t been there for so long. This place is awesome. From the food, the staff and owner I can’t say enough about this place. If you have never been or if you just haven’t been lately, just GO! “Ninos provides amazing food and customer service. We are regulars when it comes to their pizza, grinders and pasta. Last night they catered for our gender reveal party and we had assorted pizzas, a 3 foot long steak and cheese grinder, garlic knots and focaccia bread. Everything was great and our guests really enjoyed the food!“

“We were vacationing in Mystic for a long weekend and Outer Light came recommended as a brewery to stop by in the area and it did not disappoint. Kurt was bartending and was awesome to chat with. I work in the brewing industry in Pennsylvania and was excited to see their set up. He gave me a short tour of the facilities and told me about their brews and cycles. It was a great experience and awesome beers. The vibes were solid, and we had a great time.“

“Supreme Pizza has been around a long time and for good reason. They are out to please the customers. Everything is prepared well and the portions are excellent. You can get a sandwich and eat half for dinner and take the other half for lunch or you can share. I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.“

They sell mini baked pies, breads and other baked goods on the premises. The restaurant setting with views on the river was perfect. In warm weather, there is a covered deck to enjoy the river view even better. It's open today with Mother's Day specials. I'll be back again soon even though for me it's a 40-minute drive.“

I also had ordered from DoorDash and I was craving crispy chicken instead of grilled but there was no option to substitute. I called the store directly and asked them if they could accommodate me, and they did! I know it was probably a pain in the butt, so I was thankful they accommodated my picky request. Next time I will order and pick up in person to thank them directly.“
