“I celebrated my birthday at the Seal tonight. We haven't been in a while. I had the Short Rib Ravioli, Mom had the Serloin Steak, my wife had Tuna and our son a grilled cheese. Everything was delicious! Our server said she was new, but did a great job. We finished with warm Carmel apple pie! It was the perfect ending to a great night!“

“Absolutely delicious food, ready in much less time than I expected, and had food that I could safely eat with a cow milk allergy, and didn't blink for a sec at us masking. If timing on our trip had worked out we would've absolutely come back and gotten more of the delicious dumplings.

“1st time in after driving past on my way to work. I made reservations on valentines day. Figured we would give it a shot. Atmosphere was great very relaxed. Service was great, prompt and efficient. We didnt feel like we were in a rush. Band was great, food was amazing. We will definitely return. We saw other people food come out and it looked and smelled amazing. Highly recommend“

Server was excellent explained the menu clearly and we decided to have a spinach omelet delicious , home fries were fantastic. Portions were large.i had steak and eggs Steak was cooked just like I ordered ! Biggest problem was which homemade muffins to take with us to hotel. They all looked delicious and they were. “This LITTLE RESTAURANT IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! It’s a modest little establishment tucked directly behind Home Goods. The decor design is very much early 1970’s. Tile floors with 10-12 Formica tables & counter seating. IT’S ADORABLE! THE FOOD IS FABULOUS & PRICED EXTREMELY REASONABLE.
They SERVE BREAKFAST ALL DAY!
They also offer delicious lunch items ranging from pot roast, spaghetti to patty melts. They have AN ARRAY OGLF WONDERFUL CHALK BOARD SPECIALS!
THE STAFF ARE LOVELY. I have NO IDEA why anyone would say they are RUDE.
I have been going weekly for 2+ yrs & I have had NOTHING but KIND, HELPFUL EFFICIENT SERVICE. The COOK is a quiet, shy but genteel man. So perhaps ppl should pay a bit more attention.

“We found another one of the Greats today! Grand Apizza started off in the 1950’s and was in New Haven for 50 years! Then the dad, Fred Nuzzo sold the building and moved to Clinton. The same pizza and they opened 3 restaurants, Clinton, Guilford and Madison. The dad went to Clinton and so did we. Let me just say… the pizza is so good! The sauce is top 5. Endless crispy crust perfectly made… and tasty saucy sauce. The garden pie was also quite special with just the right amount of tangy balsamic vinegar! I was super happy to meet Fred’s son, Mike. You can tell he is very humble and proud of their amazing piece of pizza history. Legendary pizza today. 9.7 solid score for the cheese. The tomato pie was a 10. Perfect 10. It’s something that can only be experienced verses spoken about. The garden veggie was an 8.3. “We ended up ordering a large pepperoni pie and traditional buffalo wings and boy was this worth while. The consistency of the cheese on the pizza felt like I was in a teenage mutant ninja turtle episode with the cheese pulls. The wings were the PERFECT level of crispy and balanced out with the buffalo sauce. Price is definitely worth the visit. They also offer traditional Latino dishes which look like they're made authentically, so we will be stopping by again! Great mom &pop shop to visit!“
