“Delicious South East Asian/ Indonesian food in New Haven! I was with the group of friends from New York City visited the town. We’re recommended by our friends not to missed the place for dinner. The Beef Rendang absolutely must try, The ShrimpMee Goreng and The Beef Beehon Goreng are delicious and don’t miss The TOKA Curry. Service was good with Art inspired inside the restaurant. We’re definitely will be back soon!“

“Haven’t been to the restaurant yet, just placed an online order for delivery. I ordered the tofu noodles, scallion pancakes, and Thai iced tea. And WOW it was delicious. I live in New Haven and get Thai food fairly often but it’s not often I am this impressed. The scallion pancakes alone are easily the best I’ve ever had. Just so rich and flavorful. And the tofu in the soup was perfectly tender, with the soup having a nice spicy flavor to it but also not too intense. I’m hoping to head to the actual restaurant now after such a delicious meal. Highly recommend!“

“This is a primarily take out. Food is good, not the best I've ever had, but good, and definitely worth the $$. I am from out of town and have twice in a month. It's not first choice if dinning out, but for take out its in my top 5.“

“This was the first time I ordered food from Main Garden. If you are looking for delicious Chinese food at very affordable prices, I highly recommend this place. My favorite dish was the House Special Fried Rice—it even included crab meat, something I haven't found anywhere else—so I give it five stars.“

“Usually this is my go-to place for Chinese takeout. I’ve always found their food flavorful and reasonably priced. Last night I ordered vegetable chow mein, expecting noodles (as pictured in my Google search). Mein literally means noodles. So I was surprised and disappointed when I received this bowl of bland, limp vegetables, and no noodles at all. When I called the restaurant they told me that chow mein doesn’t have noodles; if I wanted noodles I should have ordered lo mein. I did some research and apparently this is a regional thing, though not - after surveying my other east coast friends - all that widespread. Anyway, I was disappointed and I’m thinking of taking my business somewhere else. I did give four stars because of past experiences, but I wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking for noodles in their noodles dish.“

“This is my review of Asian Buffet on Broad Street in Meriden Connecticut.
Pros: The food is really good in my opinion.
The selection is great, with the food trays stacked with fresh hot food and desserts all the time.
They have a hibachi section at no extra charge, where they'll cook the food for you the way you request it.
Cons: The prices are high, I shouldn't have to pay $20 for a 9 year old to eat there.
The atmosphere is ok, but they have room for improvement.
The wait staff is dry, straight to business with zero smiles or small talk, which I am not used to.
Overall I give this place 4 Stars...
Check them out for yourself, I think you'll enjoy it.“
