“We worked with Karen and her amazing team including her talented head chef Tess for our wedding in Summer 2024, and I literally could not recommend them more highly. We had a complex multi-cultural wedding and we wanted to do something special for our food, so floated the idea of Korean-style rice bowls with delicious mains and tons of vegetables and sauces to Karen. To our delight, she was super energized by the idea and SKBT did everything they possibly could to ensure that our food was absolutely phenomenal and unique, down to the tiniest of details. They also made their own vegan kimchi, which my Korean family complimented highly. Over and over again we heard from our guests how the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding, and one dear friend said, “this isn’t wedding food, this is HUMAN food” which is exactly what we wanted. Karen and SKBT are competent, creative, detail-oriented, and heartful professionals and we were so excited to work with them to give our loved ones the best meal we could with our budget.
