“My wife and I went to Brickside before the show at the Ivoryton Theater. We ordered a glass of wine and a draft beer and chose the Brickside pizza. It was fantastic! The crust, sauce and toppings were amazing and just as described. Pricing is reasonable, the atmosphere comfortable and the service was timely and friendly. We enjoyed the experience and made it to the show on time.“

“We drove to the historic small town of Essex on the Connecticut river. The small downtown area along the western bank of the river is beautiful and worth the visit. It's quiet pace and rustic looks, especially the small public park with access to the riverside is a must stop if you visit.
Before our drive into town, we looked up a good place for Pizza and were attracted to Centerbrook Pizza. The owner operator of Centerbrook Pizza is an exceptional customer-centric, very helpful noteworthy person. He took our order for a vegetarian/cheese 50/50 pizza. He guided us to the downtown area by the river, which we had been unable to pinpoint earlier using google.
His pan Pizza was also top rated, with all fresh ingredients and done just right. He also guided us to the public park in the downtown area, where we sat in a very peaceful tree shaded area with beautiful views of the marina and islands in the river. I would rate his customer-friendliness and his Pizza very highly.“

“We ended up ordering a large pepperoni pie and traditional buffalo wings and boy was this worth while. The consistency of the cheese on the pizza felt like I was in a teenage mutant ninja turtle episode with the cheese pulls. The wings were the PERFECT level of crispy and balanced out with the buffalo sauce. Price is definitely worth the visit. They also offer traditional Latino dishes which look like they're made authentically, so we will be stopping by again! Great mom &pop shop to visit!“

“Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “I have ordered delivery from Boardwalk many, many times. I have always placed my order quickly and had friendly service. Not today! I ordered 2 dinners with appetizers and spoke with someone who seemed new. They wouldn't make one of the dinners I ordered, so I chose something else. When asked if I was paying cash or card, I said card. After some discussion with his " boss", I was told I couldn't use a credit card, cash. What?? Always use my card. Something very shady going on over there. Never again“
