“Authentic Jamaican food with a true authentic Caribbean feel. Food is great with plenty of options to choose from. I’ve tried the rice and peas with cabbage accompanied with oxtail. jerk chicken and fried chicken ( they were all good). The beef patties were very good with the distinctive spicy kick you expect. Make sure you grab your authentic Jamaican soda from the wide variety offered.
Good Life Caribbean is located in the heart of the Fair Haven neighborhood in New Haven. Street parking is available most of the time. I highly recommend take out only as the space is a bit tight. Regarding service I’ve always received a prompt and respectful service.“

“It's a nice family business hands down.... I had one problem though I order jerk Chicken and I got brown stew chicken instead not sure what happen but I'm gonna say they gave me the wrong order simple.... but I eat that stew chicken it was good 👍 with the chicken soup 🍲.... keep up the good work.“

“I come to this special place once a month since I enjoy the special air that is outline this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally helpful and well trained. The service is awfully quick. Not to mention, the food they cook is outstanding. I have been there more than once and I was never disappointed. The cost is modest. I suggest this restaurant to to all.“

“The food is excellent. but you have some women servers in there that are a little rude and moody at times. I don't know if it's privileged thing or at times they are having a bad day but I think a serious conversation needs to be had with those females that work there. Other than that food delicious.“
