“Came in today for a jerk salad and a side of Mac and cheese . The server innocently rang it up as pasta but they corrected the error with no problem and were very nice about it . Let me say , the jerk salad was DELICIOUS. Definitely worth the money , the chicken was a little spicy , super flavorful and juicy . The mango’s and cucumbers in the salad were fresh. The side of Mac and cheese was the best I have had at any Caribbean restaurant in the entire area and I’ve lived here for over 20 years. Definitely a great experience and I will be coming back for more !!!“

“I got delivery through GrubHub and it was really good. I chose mild for my wife's sake, but the flavor still was NOT lacking. The curry goat was deliciously strong in both curry and goat. The roti was one of the best I've had. The oxtail was exactly what I hoped for. Even the rice and peas impressed me. This was the best Caribbean meal I've had in a long time“

“I picked up food here for the first time and Auntie was so incredibly welcoming. She was happy to let me sample a handful of the dishes they were serving, all of which were delicious.

The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

“visited Paradise Jerk Jamaican Restaurant for the first time today and decided to try the cornmeal porridge and an order of sweet plantain. I have to say, I was very impressed! The porridge was smooth, creamy, and full of authentic Jamaican flavor seasoned just right with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. It had that comforting, homemade taste that instantly reminded me of traditional island cooking. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The portion was generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. For my first experience, it definitely left a positive impression, and I’m looking forward to going back to try more dishes on their menu.“

“I arrived to the location recommended by a friend who’s considering this location as a b day rendezvous in the near future.

Parking: there’s parking available in a well lit parking lot directly behind the building. There are lights along the entire plaza outside. No major trash or debris. A small spot which still made us feel safe. There’s an entrance / exit there’s well as the front door. There’s parking directly on the main road. We saw a few spots available in the side streets which was a plus.

Business at 8 pm was busy and rustling. A few seats became available at the bar as the crowd rotated. We were promptly greeted by the bartender. We also made eye contact with a wait staff who also went behind the bar POS. The music was at a moderate volume featuring classic reggae sounds throughout the spot. The bar has about 12 seats. There’s are four tv displaying weekly pronouns and local sports. We ordered wings and fries. Both were bright crisp and hot. An indication that grease is rotated fresh. The panko batter for the wings was tasty.

The restroom is located at the back by the entrance. I did not have an opportunity to check this out. The dining room is bright white and modern. There’s a projector and a tv screen in the area. We are observed the climate control is fair with hot food in hot chafing dishes. There are windows which let light in at sunset.

We discussed future dinner plans with owner Jeff. He provided menu options for large parties. He has digital displays of food and menu plans which was impressive.

“Decided to stop by since I was craving Jamaican food tonight. The portions are huge here! Definitely a bang for your buck. Got the stewed chicken and the jerk chicken for the rice platters. I love Mac and cheese so I definitely had to try it with some jerk chicken on top. Everything was great and the customer service was as well. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.“

“The upcharge of ordering pasta instead of rice as a side results in some sticker shock once it’s time to pay, at which point you feel pressured to just pay it since they’ve already made the plate. Definitely pricier than an average Jamaican takeout spot, and I would’ve liked more transparent pricing upfront, but the food itself was good.“

“I only order j*** pork & j*** chicken, and I most say that this is the BEST j*** chicken & pork I have EVER taste in America. I am hooked. It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.

“While up there visiting family I went here. After the gym my sister wanted Ackee and saltfish. She wasn’t sure if they were open but they were-it was around 10:45 am on a Saturday. Listen I never ate here but def will be going back when I come back up. Their food is better than the Yardies on elmont rd. I got a saltfish fritter and has we were leaving the lady was bringing out lunch. We stopped in our tracks and got the freshest, tender jerk pork (we forgot to ask for a piece of the pepper) curry chicken and a chicken patty. Amazing and they def make the patty from scratch. Thanks Buffy Patty-delicious. I LOVE jerk pork and def will be buying to take bake to Tampa. Btw it’s not loud in there but the had the good vibes playing. “My first time at Kingston Grill and I’d it weren’t for the professional, well mannered lovely lady at the counter it very well could have been my last. However, I will definitely return as in addition to the wonderful customer service experienced on Saturday July 22 at around 4pm. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the oxtail meal as well as sweet chili chicken wings. Awesome!!“

“Customer service was great over the phone. Amazing food. I ordered delivery (I didn’t do Uber eats, just called because I wanted the restaurant to receive 100% of the profit) and it came quick. I received a medium oxtail with macaroni and cheese. I would’ve taken a photo but it looked too good not to take a bite. I wish I got more oxtail because it was delicious!! The Mac and cheese was amazing — perfectly cheesy. I can’t wait to come back for more of their food options like the stew meat or even the banana bread (and tell everyone I know obviously)!

Edit: I got more food the next day! The stew chicken was as delicious as I hoped it would be alongside that AMAZING curry goat. The curry goat tasted like heaven — it tastes fresh off the island! The curry chicken was also very good and I got a great portion of everything. The standout had to be the beef patty which was the BEST Jamaican beef patty I’ve ever had. Now I got to buy one with every order!! I thought the bulla had a beautiful sweet spice to it. Perfect for any meal. Everyone I knew wanted a bite of the curry spiced bread as well. My sister said she’s going to order here everyday if she can ?. Overall, everything was perfect and I am glad there’s more yummy places to eat in this neighbourhood.

“I was in the neighborhood on the mall close by. I was really hungry so of course Jamaican food would do. Was a bit skeptical because it said Silver Krust on Google but the sign onsite says something else. Anyway, the woman serving looked very Jamaican (lol) and sounded very Jamaican with the ghetto flare attitude so I am like alright this food is good. Gotta be good (lol). I really wanted to soup but they had chicken soup with no corn. Anyways , I got curry goat, rice and peas, sweet chilly chicken, cabbage and plantain. Yum yum yum !! The food was so good! Even though the goat could have been a bit more tender, but it was still flavorful. I ate every bit of it! The food really hit the spot. I went back for patty but no patty. Update I went back twice the stewed chicken is dry and then the plate of oxtails was not the same size lots of rice little meat. “I only been here twice, and it was very good. I was helped by a girl named Chemeil who was very nice, friendly, patient, personable, and knowledgeable. I got the jerk chicken and it was tasty. The second time I had jerk chicken, rasta pasta, ginger pink lemonade, and a ginger mango drink. I was helped by Stacey another nice, friendly, patient, personable, and professional person.
