“I’ve just had my third meal at Tony Mac’s in as many days, and again I was not disappointed!??? For lunch I had the curry goat which comes well-seasoned with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantain. To drink I had a number 5 Sea Moss drink called “The Mac Body Heat” to wake up the body made of - Sea Moss, wheat germ, oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, roots and something called tigerbone! ???The waitress noted to me on the way out “Look after your wife tonight, the next day you might be getting a welcome visitor from the Creator!Great meal and the medium was mighty big for the money -$25 for the meal and drink! Highly recommended for great food, Garnett Silk music while you wait and the baby maker shake!!!!?????????Honey I’m home!????“

“Stopped here on a Sunday night as they were about to close they were pretty much out of everything. Kerry Ann was kind enough to make us some fresh fried fish and chicken topped it off with some extras. Super amazing customer service. Their coconut drops and peanut cake reminded me so much of back home, jamaica. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area.“

“visited Paradise Jerk Jamaican Restaurant for the first time today and decided to try the cornmeal porridge and an order of sweet plantain. I have to say, I was very impressed! The porridge was smooth, creamy, and full of authentic Jamaican flavor seasoned just right with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. It had that comforting, homemade taste that instantly reminded me of traditional island cooking. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The portion was generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. For my first experience, it definitely left a positive impression, and I’m looking forward to going back to try more dishes on their menu.“

“I come here often. The food is definitely a bit overpriced but it is good and consistent. The customer service is great as well, compared to other Jamaican spots.

With that being said I got there the other day in the perfect time slot to get the lunch special. I asked about it and the lady said “we don’t have the lunch special right now”. I was so confused. If yall don’t want to offer it please TAKE THE DAMN SIGN DOWN. What’s the point in having it up?

“Customer service was great over the phone. Amazing food. I ordered delivery (I didn’t do Uber eats, just called because I wanted the restaurant to receive 100% of the profit) and it came quick. I received a medium oxtail with macaroni and cheese. I would’ve taken a photo but it looked too good not to take a bite. I wish I got more oxtail because it was delicious!! The Mac and cheese was amazing — perfectly cheesy. I can’t wait to come back for more of their food options like the stew meat or even the banana bread (and tell everyone I know obviously)!

Edit: I got more food the next day! The stew chicken was as delicious as I hoped it would be alongside that AMAZING curry goat. The curry goat tasted like heaven — it tastes fresh off the island! The curry chicken was also very good and I got a great portion of everything. The standout had to be the beef patty which was the BEST Jamaican beef patty I’ve ever had. Now I got to buy one with every order!! I thought the bulla had a beautiful sweet spice to it. Perfect for any meal. Everyone I knew wanted a bite of the curry spiced bread as well. My sister said she’s going to order here everyday if she can ?. Overall, everything was perfect and I am glad there’s more yummy places to eat in this neighbourhood.

However, I will definitely return as in addition to the wonderful customer service experienced on Saturday July 22 at around 4pm. The food was delicious!!! “I only order j*** pork & j*** chicken, and I most say that this is the BEST j*** chicken & pork I have EVER taste in America. I am hooked. It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.

Was a bit skeptical because it said Silver Krust on Google but the sign onsite says something else. Anyway, the woman serving looked very Jamaican (lol) and sounded very Jamaican with the ghetto flare attitude so I am like alright this food is good. Gotta be good (lol). I really wanted to soup but they had chicken soup with no corn. Anyways , I got curry goat, rice and peas, sweet chilly chicken, cabbage and plantain. Yum yum yum !! The food was so good! Even though the goat could have been a bit more tender, but it was still flavorful. I ate every bit of it! The food really hit the spot. I went back for patty but no patty. Not sure if it’s because it’s Sunday. Try this spot for authentic Jamaican flavor . No seating inside restaurant. Parking lot very dirty.“

Update I went back twice the stewed chicken is dry and then the plate of oxtails was not the same size lots of rice little meat. “We visited on Valentine’s Day and it was such a great time! The food was amazing!! I ordered the lobster and shrimp and my husband ordered the oxtail Rasta pasta.

The oxtails were falling off the bone 🍖!! So good… and the sauce!!! WOW! Blown away!

“Yardies in Elmont is my go-to spot for authentic Jamaican food! I had the jerk chicken with rice & peas and veggies — everything was packed with flavor and the portions were generous. The price is fair for how much food you get.

The staff has amazing customer service — they even gave me a free beef patty since they were closing soon! The only small downside is that you can’t get the mac and cheese hot (you have to heat it up at home), but honestly the food is so good it doesn’t even matter.

If you’re craving real Jamaican flavor with great service, this is the place. I go here all the time — never disappoints!“
