“This bunch was excellent this morning. I wish I could remember them each by name, but you know who you are this morning. I definitely noticed all the hard work as busy as you guys were and the high-quality service that you gave to every single person from the person at the register to the person in the drive-through to the person serving the drinks everyone was top-notch polite, kind, and ready to help. I have not seen this type of service since before the pandemic so please know how great you were.“

“A very cozy and vibey coffee house. Stopped in a few times while staying in town for the week and had an amazing experience each time. The food and drinks were phenomenal, I got a hot peanut butter cup latte with oat milk and a plain bagel with cream cheese and my friend got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. As far as I saw the breakfast sandwiches aren’t on any menus inside (I might be blind though) but they do make them and are 10/10. Dunkin dreams of making sandwiches that delicious that don’t wreak havoc on you.

The gift shop was wonderful to browse while finishing my drink and I did leave with a few pieces of jewelry and a travel mug momento.

Overall a great place to get a bite to eat, and somewhere I will visit anytime I’m in the area.“

“Went there for our first time for a quick bite and some coffee, it was of this world! Their Candied Apple iced coffee was brewed well and had a great flavor without being too sugary or overwhelming. I also had a Caprese sandwich and couldn't get over how fresh and perfectly seasoned it was. The staff are welcoming and pleasant to everyone coming in as well! Definitely will have to stop in again!“

Only downside is parking lot isn't big enough for the amount of customers they have! Hope they expand to a bigger better location one day, but don't keep it from letting you try this awesome place! “Old Man Joe's is absolutely wonderful place to sit for coffee and bagels.

I have always joked that if you are looking to feel like an old Italian man while drinking your cappuccino, Old Man Joe's is the spot for you. The coffee quality is fantastic.

In addition, the bagels are the best quality in all of Westerly. For the price that Old Man Joe's offers there bagel sandwiches, $5 - $10; they should be considered a charity. If they wanted to sell their bagel sandwiches for $15 - $20, they could get away with it. However, they don't.

I can't say enough good things about Old Man Joe's.

Vegetarian options: Get the Joe Dirt! Holy moly!

Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options!

Parking: The stores across the street don't let people park in their parking lot. I blame the people across the way. They have become tyrannical parking overlords. Nature of the beast...

“I ordered my wedding cake from Li's Bakeshop in December of 2023. It was for 60 people and was a two tier chocolate cake with oreo filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. I was able to show the baker a picture of the design I was thinking about in the frosting and asked for a little bit of gold on it as well. The result was even better than me or my husband could've imagined! It was the absolute perfect, sweet ending to our amazing day!! All of our guests couldn't stop telling us it was the best cake they've ever had. We were able to save two slices and they're in the freezer awaiting our first anniversary. We've been long time customers and wouldn't have trusted anyone else to make our cake for us.“

“Zest Fresh Pastry is an outstanding bakery. We love stopping by on the weekends. There’s sometimes a wait, but it’s definitely worth it for their cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches or crepes. When it came time to choosing a bakery for our wedding cake, Zest definitely delivered. Working with Gabriella was great - she was super responsive and created a beautiful and flavorful cake. “made a wrong turn and ended up on Gold Star Hwy. never knew it was a part of Mystic. Came to a DD to get a snack and it was a really nice bunch of servers taking care of your needs. Friendly,polite,and showed us where we made a wrong turn, we got a half dozen and some drinks but was impressed on how well they were taking care of the customers and us as well. Very clean and the quality of the product was good. Donuts were fresh and were put into a box very well and not mushed up as some places do. a good place to stop. One of our friends got a toasted bagel and said it was great with cream cheese. so I say,go here they are nice and they loved the kids.“

However, the taste, texture and overall experience of the chocolate didn’t live up to our expectations - especially at the high price point. The coffee drinks were average and slightly overpriced ($5 medium cup of coffee and $6 small cappuccino). Cute vibe, great idea, nice location, and the employee was extremely friendly. “Older style Dunkin with a pay phone! Bike rack, too. Wood paneled walls and booths are some of the unusual decor. Parking lot has faded white and pink lines that seem to contradict themselves. Basically, an older store that desperately needs a remodel.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but my friends and I were stopping here for the bathroom before heading home, so we decided to get some drinks for the ride too. I have a very hard time with Dunkin because there isn’t much options for people with dairy allergies. I usually have to return my drink or end up not drinking it because they don’t pay attention to the right kind of milk. There were only two staff working when we were there, and the girl who rang us up was very attentive and kind. She even asked if the amount of coconut milk was okay or if there needed to be more/less. I was a little weary of how it would taste but it ended up being really good!! “I just stopped for a Monday morning coffee while I was out shopping in Westerly. Michelle was the barista at the drive thru and she was sooo kind and made me smile! She had a positive attitude and they made my coffee perfect. I got a brown sugar oat milk espresso with an extra shot. As a former Starbucks employee Michelle modeled all of their values! I left her a tip and she was very appreciative and thanked me several times. I will definitely be back! (After I went through the drive thru I pulled into the parking lot to leave this review. I didn’t want to forget to write one later because it was a great experience! Lol )“
