“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.“

“The food was delicious!! Fresh cooked and served hot and fast!! The waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable- answered questions patiently and politely!! The ambiance/decor could use an update (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but that was the only thing we noticed!!The Kaprao and Ginger chicken were tasty and seasoned just right -as were the appetizers !! After we move back to the CT mid year - we will Definitely be going back to Seven Moons!!“

“Service was quick and efficient. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles with shrimp. Spring rolls were fresh with a light crispy crunch. The drunken noodles with shrimp was a lil bland, not enough sauce and portion size was small. I will probably try again just a different dish.“

“Mae Kong is a great littleThai restaurant . The owner cares about her food and it shows . It is a small place tasteful but simple atmosphere . I have eaten here for many years . It is one of the few restaurants in downtown New Britain that has withstood the rest of time. While many others have come and gone Mae Kong survives. The menu is varied and contains many Thai dishes you won't find elsewhere . I have Tom Yum Khoong soup, the Larb, Pad-See-ew, a couple of Prik dishes, the green, Panang and Mussaman curries as well as several other dishes . All ver excellent. S solid and relatable Thai restaurant. It's BYOB.“

“The food here is always delicious. Today I tried a new dish and was NOT upset. The Tiger Tear Beef is now undoubtedly my favorite. The service was a little slow this time but not too bad. This is a very nice place for a first date or even a date night out with your special loved one.“

“Had lunch on a Saturday - busy evening at 3pm Which is always a good sign! Large menu - I had a teriyaki chicken lunch box which was tasty and a generous portion, husband had a sushi/sashimi combo which was presented nicely and he said was very good. The special rolls were huge - enough to share. Very reasonably priced.“

“We went on a slow night so the service was great and I had the Seafood vegetable stir fry. It was very good. Our waitress also brought out fried wontons and spring rolls. The dipping sauce for those was excellent! It was well priced also. I will go back.“

“Awesome experience every time we go! Small family owned business. Prices are very fair for todays standards and it's BYOB! Ordered the drunken noodle and ginger dish this time. Fresh ingredients: shiatke mushrooms, cabbage and fresh ginger just to name a few.“
