“Normally…Sun Fat or Lotus are my to-go spots for Chinese food here in the Bristol area..but someone wanted Chinese and said to try this place because it’s excellent. My main thing when trying a new place is the Sesame Chicken..very basic and easy to tell if you have to add something to it.
Last night..I got the sesame chicken combo..instead of like most places where you have to request them to cook it soft (because it’s usually hard or clumpy)..not this place. It was almost like the style you get when you do the chicken and broccoli. It had excellent flavor and so did the pork fried rice..I didn’t need to add any soy or duck sauce..it was that good.
Normally…when eating Chinese food, as with anyone, you get that bubble gut feeling or you’re hungry an hour later…this was the first time I sat and ate the whole thing in one sitting..AND wasn’t hungry afterwards. I forgot to do the picture til I was halfway through and even then I wanted to continue to dig in.
Definitely a 4.7 out of 5 and/or 9.5 out of 10.”

“I know this Burger King had some bad experiences, but these last few times have been pretty good!! I did have to wait some time for food, but that’s also because they’re understaffed. The staff that were working there at the time are very polite and friendly with me and they made sure that the order was made correctly.”

“Went on Friday night and enjoyed an amazing dinner. One of the friends with us is Vegan and it was so nice to have vegan options for her as well. Service was fantastic, never waited on anything. A special touch is the owner visits each table to ensure we are enjoying ourselves and the food. “I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . “Not only are the prices very reasonable, the portions are also fantastic. The bowls are huge. For reference, I ordered a make it yourself burrito, and a salmon bowl (pictured below). I inhaled the burrito before I could take a picture, and it was delicious. I wasn’t expecting it to be seaweed wrapped instead of a regular wrap, but I’m happy it was. Keep that in mind if you order on an app. The wraps are seaweed. Still, it was delicious, filling, and healthy. I could only get maybe a quarter through the bowl before I was too full to continue. And again, it was delicious.

If you’re health conscious, and looking for quick meals without breaking the bank, I highly recommend this place. I’m upset it has taken me this long to try it out.”
