“One of our first weddings was at the stunning Aria, and we’ve had the good fortune of working there as full-time wedding photographers over several years now. When you first walk in to the space you are taken aback by the size and scope of the elegant surroundings. We particularly love the staircases and how everything can be used for photography of the couple or as a group. It’s so important to be able to move around freely and get creative with angles for posed and documentary photography, and the space makes this possible. The exclusivity and scope of the venue helps a couple feel very special on their day with so many facets of the property to enjoy in and out. We have yet to photograph a wedding in the new chapel, and we are as excited as anyone to book our first ceremony there soon. Aria also allowed us to do a Christmas fashion photoshoot in their spectacular entrance area with all their beautiful decor, and winter is definitely an incredible season to have a wedding here. Suffice it to say their communication and efforts are superb. Aria has such a deep staff that is always assisting couples, guests, and us as vendors, and I am struggling to recall a time where there was any major issue during any of our weddings. “Just attended a wedding at this venue. There were 3 weddings on the grounds. Driving in was a little confusing as the 1st weddings was doing photos in the driveway once you turn in. It was difficult to drive around them, and we didn't know there were 3 weddings, so it was confusing. Once figured out our wedding was in the back, we moved forward and only then saw valets directing traffic -which was later than was actually helpful.
Once we got onto the grounds, it's beautiful. And yes you do see other weddings, but you are not on top of each other and each wedding had separate space.

The venue is lovely -there's a windmill on a small lake, there's a massive fireplace. It's stunning.

Food was delicious -the appetizers were incredible. Service was fantastic -what a wonderful staff!

The staff was so helpful and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the drinks the bartender were serving up were so good. Overall, the vibes were immaculate and far exceeded expectations. “We worked with Karen and her amazing team including her talented head chef Tess for our wedding in Summer 2024, and I literally could not recommend them more highly. We had a complex multi-cultural wedding and we wanted to do something special for our food, so floated the idea of Korean-style rice bowls with delicious mains and tons of vegetables and sauces to Karen. To our delight, she was super energized by the idea and SKBT did everything they possibly could to ensure that our food was absolutely phenomenal and unique, down to the tiniest of details. They also made their own vegan kimchi, which my Korean family complimented highly. Over and over again we heard from our guests how the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding, and one dear friend said, “this isn’t wedding food, this is HUMAN food” which is exactly what we wanted. Karen and SKBT are competent, creative, detail-oriented, and heartful professionals and we were so excited to work with them to give our loved ones the best meal we could with our budget. “Delicious jerk chicken and brisket! The chicken in particular was cooked beautifully and had great heat and flavor. We got the combo platter at the Continuum event yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't get a chance to come over myself to say hello since I was inside, but I'm glad my husband and I got to enjoy the BBQ for lunch. See you guys again!“

“Having an outside party? THIS is the best food truck to hire! Today, June 21,2025, I’m at my niece’s graduation party & this food truck was amazing! It’s like having a personal restaurant on your lawn. The pizza was fantastic -THE BEST- actually! Frank made me a gluten free pizza with potato, bacon & carmelized onions. Oh my goodness! It has to be the BEST GF pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Super thin, well cooked! I can’t say enough good things about this pizza. He made all types of pizza. Very organized, clean and so delicious! Wonderful people to talk to! Then they have other services like Gelato Giuliana-between the pizza and the gelato-it is the best of New Haven! “I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

“La Bella Vista is a spectacular venue we’ve had the good fortune of working at as full-time wedding photographers for several years now. More often than not we are there in the fall with the foliage surrounding us. La Bella Vista is a great location if you are looking for something intimate, elegant, yet comfortable and approachable. On site ceremonies are gorgeous outdoors, and moving to the reception space is wonderful because there is SO much space inside for the entrances and dance floor. One of the highlight’s of everyone’s evening is usually hors d'oeuvres and dessert with both offering countless fantastic options in a beautiful space. One of our favorite aspects of visiting is always the attentive staff and superb coordination. There is always someone looking out for the couple, checking on the progress of the setup, and keeping everything on time. They always look out for us as vendors as well, making sure we get our meals, ensuring we’re ready to go for the next event, and helping with all the little touches when it’s go time for photographing the couple, bridal parties, family and friends. We always recommend La Bella Vista when couples ask for feedback. “The food was great BUT.... when the man arrived with the food it was expected that my party guests and I unload the truck AND set up the catering trays! When booking the event no one informed that I would to need to provide my own help to get the food set up - I hired a caterer so I didn’t have to do that. It was quite disappointing to realize a bunch of my guests were lugging heavy catering dishes from the truck and trying to find a tool to open and light the sternos! Had I know I would have hired someone to be there to do it instead of making my guests do it. Once the food was set up it was good. The veggie chili was delicious and everyone raved about the BBQ ribs and chicken. I would forego the green beans and lemonade/ice tea. Those things just weren’t worth it. Overall I would recommend them with a caveat that you must know that for the price you’re not guaranteed a full catering setup. Disappointed.“
