“I recently visited 881 Grab & Go, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. As someone who is typically a very selective eater, I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need to modify my order at all.
The Cheyney Sandwich was absolutely exceptional—perfectly prepared, with fresh, flavorful fish that truly stood out. Every bite was well-balanced and satisfying, making it an instant favorite. I also had the oxtail mac and cheese, which was equally enjoyable, rich in flavor, and a great complement to the meal.
Beyond the food, the overall experience was just as impressive. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. The soul music playing in the background created a comforting and enjoyable ambiance while I waited for my order.

From the moment I walked in, I noticed the genuine, friendly interaction between the staff and customers – no impatience or condescension, just warm and welcoming service. It’s rare to find such a personable atmosphere! The food was, as always, incredible. I had the curried goat, which was perfectly spiced and tender, and the oxtail was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were spot-on! To top it off, we were given a tour of the newly opened, exclusive upstairs dining area (pictures to come!), which looks fantastic. Kudos to the owners for continuously elevating the dining experience here. “The food Is pretty good. The service isn't bad. It's just a bit unorganized and quite slow. They only accept cash, but they do have a ATM area. You can differently have a conversation and talk.It's in a church cafeteria. I would encourage. Trying to at least once. The turkey wings are my favorite from this location.“

“I was disappointed because the servings of food are not consistent, one server makes sure to ask what you need and the food is good but the next server the following week really disappoint the rice was swimming in gravy it was so bad that it looked like dog food and I guess she didn't care about great service because the oxtails had 6 of the smallest pieces of oxtails that I have seen; this was so disappointing it felt like I had begged for some food.
