“I had gone here several years ago and was very disappointed. A friend convinced me to give them another try, so I did! My breakfast sandwich was delicious. I also picked up a chicken salad sandwich for lunch that tasted very fresh. I'm happy to add them to my food choices in town.“

“Me and my friends have been going here for three years and it has been the best experience out of any corner store in Hartford. Walle also has the best customer service out of any corner store we’ve ever been to and we genuinely love being there and walles will always be our number one store.
Vegetarian options: I tried it and it was amazing best vegetarian food I’ve ever had.
Parking: It’s good i usually walk there because of how good it is but the parking is good.
Kid-friendliness: It’s good the workers are the best they’re cool and chill and nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: There good“

“Amazing homemade Polish food. I think the best croquettes (krokiety) i have ever had (had the meat ones). Plus very tasty bigos. I did not have a chance to try other stuff they have, so couldn't make my opinion on their pierogies.It is also a store, with a great variety of polish food.Highly recommended for snacks: a lot of delicious and cheap Polish snacks: try chałwa and ptysie! They also have Polish chocolate if you like European chocolate.“

“We ordered our Thanksgiving Day meal from Italian Gourmet Deli and it was FANTASTIC! We have previously ordered catering from them and have never been disappointed. Their food is always delicious, plentiful and nicely packaged for easily heating it up with the instructions included. The staff is friendly and efficient. Looking forward to seeing their New Year’s Eve menu!“

“Food was perfect, employees respectable. The manager looked as though she came in off the clock and took the workers tips, and then went outside and I heard her say, "it was only $20." To her friend she was with, she had no right to the Tips of the working staff IMO. Would like that addressed the staff deserve their cash tips. no employee complained to me, I'm complaining because they worked hard to get me in and out of this store.“

“We're traveling through CT on our way home and stopped into the Meriden location for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted by both front of house guys, got a fun bell ring and a "Gratzie!" for our 20% tip. Our veggie sandwich was delicious, great bread, and the perfect amount of dressing. Our chicken caesar was fresh and tasty. Used the bathroom before we left and it was very clean and smelled nice! If we were local we'd be there all the time.“

“For all who see the critical reviews...If you're looking for a $5 footlong equivalent, you're not going to be happy. Prices and serving sizes reflect current economic downturns affecting businesses and their bottom line. That being said, food was delicious and fair for the price. Fresh homemade meatballs were a nice surprise. Will come again when in the area.“

“This little sandwich shop is amazing! Easy to get to, away from all of the towns crazy traffic. It’s adorable inside, clean, so quick with service. The food is always delicious, they have a great variety on their menu. Melissa, who runs the front counter, is always smiling, super friendly, so busy and amazing at her job! She doesn’t miss a beat!
