“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

“I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

This place by far had the friendliest staff with knowledge and help to get you through their ordering process. My first time in and I didn’t feel rushed every worker was smiling and every single person I spoke to said hello. Now the food I ordered the chicken and beef combo absolutely amazing 5 stars all the way and I’m not easily satisfied when it comes to eating dinner out. After ordering I left on my way home I realized I had someone in my party with a food allergy I called the store and immediately they went in the back to check the ingredients on one of the sauces lucky for my family member they could still eat the food and I did not need to go somewhere else. I rated the service a 4 instead of 5 because I had to request that employee wash her hands after handling money instead of just changing gloves. She was polite about it, but there was a sink right there. I don't appreciate shortcuts which compromise food sanitation. Otherwise, it was a great experience.“

“I would have gave five stars for everything but there was a lot of flies. I know they can’t help it because it’s food and the front door keeps getting opened so it’s tough to keep the flies away but other than that , great experience I had to even ask the guy to cover my food while he waited on my friends because there was too many flies. Good thing was there was no flies around the table area where we were eating.“

“This olive garden is the first one i've been to that doesn't have a strong smell of bathrooms when you go in. In a lot of olive gardens, the restrooms are right next to the entrance, and boy was that a poor choice in design. Instead of smelling the excellent garlics breads, you get that weird smell of pee mixed with deodorant salts. This is my only vomplain with this franchise older restaurants. But rest assure this one isn't one of those. We went in at 4 pm, everyone had a smile, the service was quick, refills where plentyfull and we had a great time. Great restautants for the kids too. For allergic customers, their garlic breadsticks are dary and egg free and they taste sooo good. Portions at olive garden are very large and prices are fair.“

I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.“

I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! We were warmly greeted by both front of house guys, got a fun bell ring and a "Gratzie!" for our 20% tip. Our veggie sandwich was delicious, great bread, and the perfect amount of dressing.
