“When I discovered Roxbury Market in the eighties, it soon became one of my favorite destinations. I lived in Bethel, but I’d drive up to Roxbury several times a week for sandwiches. It was remodeled sometime in the nineties, and the small back room had tables to enjoy meals with friends. We’d meet there by Jeep, motorcycle, or whatever and sit for an hour sharing a great sandwich, coffee and soft drinks. I moved to Florida in 2004 and miss the Marketplace. But we manage to visit at least once a year when we come back to Roxbury in autumn.”

“Wow. We were both very impressed. We got there as soon as they opened since we were in a hurry. We didn't wait long to be seated, and the service was quick. Now, we're no strangers to Indian food. My girlfriend often gets some Uber Eats deal (though I don't, despite being an Uber One member -- go figure) and we usually use it on one of the other two Indian places nearby. There's something about that spicy, spicey, fragrant cuisine that we can't get enough of. Bar Naan might be the best yet. Service started with tap water in a bottle, and the menu is a mix of traditional dishes and fusion items like a lamb burger and loaded masala fries. We ordered the traditional items -- it's a great way to compare places -- and it did not disappoint. The paneer curry had a wonderful flavor, and when I said "spicy", they did alright. My girlfriend's chicken tikka masala wasn't bad, either. We did get a little fusiony with the chili cheese naan, which was more like a quesadilla. Everything was probably the best I've had around here. Portions can vary wildly, but we both left full after having our entrees, a naan, and an appetizer. We'll be back. We'll order delivery if they support that. I think we found a new favorite.”

“I had breakfast this morning at The Cafe in Brookfield with several friends. My first time there, and it definitely won't be my last. The food, atmosphere, and furnishings were just wonderful. It was The Perfect Place to sit and relax with friends while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. I think we will be making this a regular thing!! “A little gem in Southbury. The Lauren Diner makes some killer breakfast but expect a wait. They are very popular on the weekend. Small diner and a bit cramped but the food is really good and it is worth the wait”

“I've eaten most of the meats they offer but my favorite is chicken. The tacos are always hot, flavorful, the meat is juicy and in good portions, the toppings are never excessive. The side of hot sauce is always a great touch. Sometimes it's spicier than others but always delicious. I recommend this place all day. Best tacos in town, I've tried all locations and these guys never fail”

On a return trip to the area we decided Vegas Mexican Kitchen would be our choice for first night dinner. We were very pleased to find our dining experience was as exceptional as the first visit.Having traveled a bit we realize good authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find, especially in New England. We have to say this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time.Every item we had tasted fresh, was not overly spiced and the portions were plentiful. The sauces were thick and had the proper flavor from what we would consider central Mexico.From the kitchen staff to the servers, they made our meal a delightful experience.
