“If you're in the area Jam is a stop you MUST make. They have everything from prepared foods to sandwiches. The wild salmon is one of my favorites and the wheatberry salad is like a nectar from heaven. Next time you go on a picnic or to visit someone, a treat from Jam guarantees great complements. Try their gazpacho and chilled cucumber soup this summer.“
“Mom and Pop place with a good inventory of snacks and menu of sandwiches and breakfast food. I got ice cream here -- they have a freezer of Blue Bunny and other brands in the back -- and was quite satisfied. Great place to stop after hiking around Mount Washington or Bash-Bish Falls.“
“Barb is a doll, her baked goods are to die for and her jams and preserves are even better! Tired and dazed traveling antiquers from California noticed her sign, pulled over and got a great treat! Barb's yummy goodies are the best and super affordable! I had to bring home her jams to my husband, he's now the happiest man on the planet! Can't wait until next year to go back. I know she does mail order - look her up - get your holiday pies from her and impress the guest!“

“Sweet William's offers the best lattes in the area, and some really remarkable baked goods--I don't think I've had anything that has been less than stellar, from their cinnamon rolls (which are deliciously sort of like a biscuit dough in cinnamon roll form?), to their cookies (the molasses ginger cookie is a particular winner), to their cakes (the orange olive oil cake was a revelation!), to their pies (the strawberry rhubarb crisp was phenomenal). It's expensive, even by the standards of the area (a 16 oz. latte costs more than 24 oz ones at a lot of places) but the quality is worth it. Tiny, but with a lovely little outdoor space as well as some seating in the back. Highly recommend it!“
