“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. Thank you Red Lotus from an amazing experience and phenomenal customer service.“

“I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

“We visited Middlebury's greatest ice cream while we made a stop in Middlebury, Connecticut. Despite being a small store, they are able to produce a wide variety of flavors. We were served by a really nice young girl.
The ice cream tastes great. Worth the stop, it is situated in a little strip center.“

“Steve did our wedding cake on 10/11/25 and it was delicious ! From our first meeting with him he was very attentive, and drew up exactly the type of cake we were looking for. He literally made my Pinterest cake photo into reality. The cake not only looked stunning but it tasted so good too. The cake was so fresh and flavorful. The frosting was delicious. “I love the steaks here. Always cooked perfectly. I also love the fish. The salmon is delicious and so is the shrimp. Seasoned beautifully. I’m a big fan of the Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob. It’s big and kind of like Mexican Street Corn but not overly spicy. My husband orders it with just butter & loves it too. I have not had a burger here yet but it’s my husband’s favorite burger in the area. Always cooked perfectly and huge (1/2 lb!). We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed.“

“This place deserves a 5 star rating. The food is phenomenal, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The specials board offers new dishes every day for breakfast and lunch and they are incredible every time. Super creative, thoughtful, fresh and high quality. Service is fantastic too, very nice servers/cashiers, quick and friendly. Paula is a wonderful chef, and her service and cooking staff deserve all the praise. Very professional here, 10/10.“
