“I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. Booking a tasting was super easy, and as someone planning from out of state with limited time in CT, I really appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were. The tasting was so fun, and our cake turned out absolutely delicious and stunning! We didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day—they coordinated directly with our venue, and the cake was there waiting for us when we arrived. Highly recommend!“

“This is my go to Thai food spot. Never a bad experience, never an issue. First time sitting in to eat and not even 5 minutes had passed that our order was already out. If you're a fan of Thai food, you have to come here.“

It’s big and kind of like Mexican Street Corn but not overly spicy. My husband orders it with just butter & loves it too. I have not had a burger here yet but it’s my husband’s favorite burger in the area. Always cooked perfectly and huge (1/2 lb!). We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed.“

I had my event catered this year by Cafe George By Paula and they did an EXCELLENT job. The breakfast and the buffet lunch were fantastic and Paula's team provided excellent service without ever disrupting any of the day's activities. I cannot recommend them highly enough!“
