Take out or order and eat in the large dining area exquisitely decorated. This is a hidden gem in Monroe. Say hello to Lola - the owner and proud chef. By the way, it's worth a visit just to see the Egyptian Decor and statuary.“

“I was staying in the area and wanted a safe flavorful meal. I tried shahs and was happy w my meal. The guys who made my falafel bowl was very helpful and friendly. The food was good and as expected. Wish the red sauce was spicier but overall it was a good portion and good price for what it is.

“Very authentic. Rose whiff welcomes you into this well decorated place . The server is very nice . We ordered the grilled wings and the lamb kabsah both of which were very tasty, succulent and well portioned. The food didn't take too long. Topped it off with kunafa .“

“Whenever I am in town I always make sure to get falafel over rice from here at least once. Its so yummy, saucy and optional spicy. Definitely try rice platter i would say. There are plenty seating available too for dine in. Staff is sometimes rude and non welcoming but not too bad.“

“I had such an amazing experience at CAVA! Alicia was absolutely wonderful. She was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and gave me so many great recommendations that made my visit even better.
