“My husband and I love this place. It is a one person operation, not a place to go if your in a hurry. The food is great. The proprietor and the customers are friendly. You get a real homecooked breakfast. Great lunches and phenominol corned beef and cabbage in March.“

Quality, price, friendliness you name it. 20 people were lined up to order when I came in and it moved quick. I also saw several regular customers have parts of their order put on the house. “Great find and close enough to the airport you can visit before an evening flight.
All beers were very good, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Choice of beer was also great with some lesser spotted styles about too.
Food was decent - fresh and tasty although the tacos I had could have done with some more depth to the flavour. The animal fries were addictive; a must try!

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

Some of my personal favorites include the chicken tenders (with their house made buffalo sauce), the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and the oven roasted turkey wrap. “We were so pleased to visit Vito's after a few years' absence. We used to dine there almost every Friday when we lived in the area. Carol Ann welcomed us like old times. Jonathan did a great job of recreating my favorite basil martini that Linda perfected years ago. Our meal, punctuated by treats from the family farm, was excellent. Our service by Abby was terrific. The zucchini flowers appetizer impeccably balanced the tender flowers and tasty cheese. My husband's roasted cod and summer vegetables were great as was my Veal Milanese. The Pecorino wine was dry but refreshing. House-made ricotta pie was just right - subtle cheese flavor and not too sweet. We need to come back soon!“

Not only are the beers delicious, but it’s truly a “Cheers” environment where everyone not only knows your name but also every story you’ve shared before. “We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. We truly felt like we got more than our money’s worth. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time!“
