“Got the gringo taco, bros taco, and veggie taco with a coke for $16. They were fantastic with the gringo taco being my favorite. It was cold outside so i went back to my car and he actually walked halfway to the parking lot to hand me my food so that was cool of him.“

We got the chicken tinga quesadilla and shrimp tacos and both were so fresh and tasty. We also ordered the mango-pineapple drink and it's a MUST get. I am delighted to find a restaurant with a very nice style and different from the traditional Mexican restaurants. My wife and I ordered three different dishes a bowl with rice, black beans, pico de gallo, grilled vegetables, lettuce, jalapeños, grilled chicken and a spectacular green sauce accompanied by chips. My wife ordered some vegetarian tacos and a vegetarian quesadilla, which I highly recommend because they have a great variety of vegetables here. The black beans were flavorful, the Mexican rice very authentic, the salsa, the vegetables everything is of superior quality. Their commitment to our environment was something that stood out really well and is commendable. Their foundation drinks are pure cane sugar drinks and absolutely delicious. The chips are fresh and house made. I love their food quality and freshness. Totally worth trying.“

“I was next door at the nail salon; and decided to give this place a try. I did not see any vegetarian or seafood options on the menu, so walked over and asked if they could make an enchilada platter with all veggies no meat. At first, the girls at the counter were not sure because they needed to check with the cook. After a bit of back/and forth they accommodated my request. As I was placing my order, the girl asked if I wanted it with salsa verde or roja, and she let me taste both sauces. I went with the salsa verde, top notch fresh tasting. I was a bit skeptical how the food was going to taste because of the confusion when placing the order, but let me tell you the enchilada with the salsa verde rice and beans was DELICIOUS. Served with a side of lettuce, avocado and lime and she offered sour cream and hot sauce and I got both. Hot sauce was also very good! The enchilada, to my surprise had all the veggies, filled with zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions and ofc peppers. I was hugely impressed and price point at $20, I would say is average for a dinner platter these days, but for a vegetarian dish with no meat I think was a bit on the pricier end. I would have given 5 stars but because of the confusion in trying to place the order and no vegetarian or seafood options listed on their menu giving it a 4 star. Still, I will definitely be going back and hopefully they will expand their menu to add vegetarian options or at least shrimp tacos to their menu would be great!“

“I was craving a burrito. Not a chipotle burrito where they skimp on the ingredients, But a big voluptuous, tasty Burrito. Look no further. Despite the location being empty, it provided me the opportunity to witness manager and the staff who were training A new hire at the time provide exceptional service. Yeah, it’s just a chain restaurant, but the quality of the food and service was Exceptional. I Ordered the surf and turf burrito with white rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, and spicy salsa. I got this order to go in. The checkout process was straight Forward. The burrito with chips and queso as well as a large fountain drink came to about $27 with a 15% tip. Totally worth it. I had to double fist this thing because it was so big and delicious. I don’t live in Norwalk, but that was the closest location and most convenient at the time. Making it a meal- I added chips and spicy queso and a large soda. The chips were not stale and slightly salted, which vibed well with the queso. The Diablo queso wasn’t as spicy as advertised, but that’s OK. It served its purpose in between gigantic bites of the burrito. I was on my way home to Danbury and that Damn burrito was still warm after a 40 minute drive in traffic. Admittedly, The portion of meat, i.e. steak and shrimp could be a little more generous, but the overall quality and flavor of the combination I ordered was “peak.” I fully anticipate going back to this location to order the same thing.
Hopefully, the Qdoba executives of the world see this and acknowledge what a complementary review this is for this location and the staff that helped me there. Not trying to pull any favors, but a random acknowledgment of their promising success would be powerful. I will see you soon.“

“My wife and I walk to this place all of the time. I especially like the chicken soft shell tacos. Because the shells are good and sticky (not everyone's preference, I know), and the ingredients are of high enough quality, and so well-prepared, that they don't have to over-douse everything in salty sauces to mask the awfulness, the tacos stay together well. They are also reasonably hearty tacos--not thin, not overpacked. In short, this is one of those places that understands that well-wrought simplicity is the best approach for this kind of cuisine--great for a quick, satisfying meal. But today, we were served by a girl who was on the her phone gossiping with someone the entire time, she even had the phone on speaker. A very decent portion. Heavy! I like that when I spend a lot! The quesadilla was on. The. Money! Fresh, ample shrimp. Gooey cheese. The rice and beans was tasty and fresh! Perfect texture of beans. And a fresh salad on the side with a sliced avocado. I was disappointed there was no guacamole, or even sour cream. Luckily I had my own dollop of daisy to add but I'll sadly have to try the guac another day. Either way im writing this F-U-L-L. I'll be back!“

“Came here for the first time while driving through Bridgeport and was pleasantly surprised. They have an extensive menu that includes staple dishes like tacos and burritos, with harder to find dishes like Tlayudas, which are these amazing Mexican pizza like open face quesadillas native to the Oaxaca region. I devoured it. My partner was able to custom design her burrito so that it conformed to her vegan diet; cactus, beans peppers & onion burrito!

They also had a ton of freshly squeezed juice options like watermelon, lemonade etc., and the service was really attentive and helpful about customizing my partners meal

The menu is in Spanish so if you want to try some of the off beat options I recommend you bring a Spanish speaker with you, otherwise just go for simple dishes!

Overall this place was one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I’m half Mexican I’ve been eating it all of my life and have pretty high standards for the stuff

“Galicias Deli is a small little restaurant on a busy street. It's so small you might miss it as you pass by. But it is amazing! The food is homemade and delicious. The Pozole is amazing and loaded with meat. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get. The atmosphere is very laid back, there are 5 tables total. You go up to the counter see what their daily specials are or pick from the menu. The ladies behind the counter are friendly. I've been back to Galicias 5 times because it is just that good.
