“We had a baby shower for my daughter and son-in-law at the Dog Watch Mystic, and I could not be happier with them. The tent and grounds were perfectly appointed, the food was fantastic, and the entire staff was wonderful. Thank you, Dog Watch!“

(Rt.184) Mystic, CT Somewhere In Time is the Sister Restaurant of ONE of my Favorite Breakfast Spots named 'When Pigs Fly' located in Waterford, CT. So I was hoping this spot was as good or better than her "Sister"!!😁 Upon walking in and recording with my phone I received a surprised and warm welcome from the Server Susan so that was a great start!😎❤️ The atmosphere was really cool, but it is divided into two sections, a front & back divided by a partial wall. The service was very warm, fast and welcoming so I felt like I was at Home. Let's get to the food. I dropped in this morning and ordered: 1. The Sampler (2 Eggs, toast, one buttermilk Blueberry Pancake, one Texas french toast, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, home fries, toast & coffee) $19.00 👍🏾 2. Cheesy Grits /bacon $6.00 💣 The Cheesy Bacon Grits were OH SO GOOD and thick too! They were the bomb 💣. The Sampler was a Delicious & healthy serving size! There was no way I could have finished all of it in one sitting. Everything besides the French Toast was Amazingly Dope! The French toast was super dry so one bite was enough.😁 The Sampler easily earned a thumbs 👍🏾 I loved my visit at Somewhere In Time so I highly recommend this Breakfast spot! Let's start from the beginning ,started off ok the waitress who seated us was nice took our coffe order, then it started to bad , our waiters came over with an attitude right away , came to our table and said with an attitude "you ready to order yet " no hi no name nothing but that. So I ordered the short stack chocolate pancakes and a order of hash my wife ordered the breakfast burrito,she said ok and walked away . Another waitress delivered our food and she was nice . The hash was homemade with awful water down potatoes and over cooked cornbeef drenched in grease and had no seasoning. Wish I took a picture but grabbed the waitress who dropped off the food and said We can't eat this and before I could say why ,she said "to greasy ?" And I replied to greasy . Then I took a bite into the worst and dry pancakes I have ever had . My wife burrito was ok but the homefries were awful again watered down and no seasoning. When the rude waitress came to ask us if everything was OK we told here what was wrong and she replied "I have never had these many complaints I guess people like different things " and then walked away and never came back till she dropped off the bill which she did take off the hash and pancakes because we didn't eat them . No one came to refill our coffee.. its also important to mention the rude waitress went up to another waitress and said to her I'm doing this to prove a point today because what she did was wrong . we will never be back and caution people not to waste there time ! Worst breakfast place I have ever went to in my 47yrs ! Want great breakfast in that area go to Hungry heaven!“

“This place has become one of our favorites, my daughter and I love it. Lucille’s has official changed the taste of Matcha for my daughter, she now craves the ones made here at Lucille’s. Great place; we love the people that work there, they are very friendly and the customer service is fantastic. I’m so glad we stumbled upon this place, will definitely be returning. We’ve made it a goal to trying everything on the menu each time we go. So far nothing bad on the menu.“
