The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

The peach raspberry scone was easily one of the best I’ve ever had: slightly warm, packed with fresh fruit, and literally melted in my mouth. It paired perfectly with their delicious iced vanilla latte. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I always make it a point to say thank you for service, but it’s a rare treat to get a genuine thank you back for your business. Beaucoup does exactly that. Highly recommend!“

“Steph and the team at scratch were SUPERB! Our catering order was perfect (tho we were sad the croissant machine was down) every thing was piping hot (or nice an cool). Everything was SOOO good. Ordering was easy, Steph ensured we had a great variety and enough to feed the post-wedding crowd. We did have breakfast here and it was stellar! Jasmine green tea was pretty good (7/10) We really liked the decaf coffee (9/10) what a treat. The regular coffee was not noteworthy, but fine. Nitro’s is much better. Great breakfast sandwich, grab and go ready!“

Explained there was no substitutions, added avocado, made my iced mocha latte with stipulations to perfection. So precise. “This is the hidden gem of Newport. I’ve been coming here almost everyday for a few weeks now and let me tell you, after this I don’t even think I can do Dunkin anymore. First off, the iced coffee is a dark roast so I don’t even have to add a shot of espresso. Their breakfast sandwich are thick with real egg/bacon. They don’t skimp here. In fact for the summer only if you buy food you’ll get yourself a FREE iced coffee. And on top of it all, the crew here is amazing. Tell them I sent you!!“

“I visited the Portsmouth location for the second time this morning and this is a perfect first date spot imo. The large wraparound deck is so cute & cozy, like a farmhouse porch. & the coffee 🤩 I had a tiramisu latte last time, a cherry Garcia latte this time- I was not disappointed either time, the flavors were accurate without being overwhelming or weakening the espresso, & oh so delicious. The food is even better; the attention to detail & balance of flavor in the dishes is off the charts. I recommend the avocado toast or whipped feta plate, and if you’re not into coffee, their teas and lemonades are just as amazing.“

“Fuel Coffee is amazing! My husband and I were traveling from Connecticut and wanted to find a great coffee spot. After looking around, we found Fuel, and we’re so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, a very kind lady greeted us and took the time to explain everything. They have so many flavor options! Since it’s make-your-own, your coffee will always be exactly how you like it. I got an iced chocolate peanut butter coffee with almond milk, and my husband had the house blend, which he made perfectly. We also grabbed two croissants that were absolutely incredible. “There was a mess up on an order, I have spoken to the staff and manager 3 times. I've been waiting on an email to compensate me for the mistake. My understanding is that they use a 3rd party, well checking everyday for now over a week. As pleasant as Denise ,the manager, is follow through hasn't happened. No email, I give up, for people that know me....I never leave a bad review but try to deal with it directly.That usually fixes the problem. I won't go back and I'm not looking for the email anymore.“
