About Copps Island Oyster Shack

Copps Island Oyster Shack is a hidden gem that offers a great dining experience. The location is perfect, situated by the water at a marina, where guests can enjoy views of Norm Blooms oyster and clam boats. The food is delicious, especially the oysters, which are fresh, sweet, and the best ever. The hot lobster roll is mouth watering, and the half dozen raw oysters and clams casino are highly praised. The shack has outdoor picnic-style seating, perfect for enjoying a meal with a good bottle of wine or beer, which is allowed, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The workers are super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, making it easy to make great food choices. The onion rings are tasty, and the garden salad complements the meal. Sometimes, they even offer a few extra oysters, which is a nice surprise. With affordable prices, sometimes including a few extra oysters, and the option to bring your own drinks, this restaurant is highly recommended for both locals and tourists looking for a memorable seafood experience. Visitors often wait between 45-60 minutes at peak times, but ordering from the cold bar (shrimp, oysters, clams) can reduce the wait to about 10 minutes. The beautiful spot is perfect for sunny days, especially when enjoying the picnic tables overlooking the marina, salt marshes, and the island across the way.
