“If you haven’t been here GOO!!! Such a fun time for everyone… ages 10+ AND also just found out they have an Axe League on Thusday nights!! Met the owner, which the restaurant inside is named after. (Gaetano) The pizza looked AMAZING! 🍕 I however didn’t get any but had a piece of pepperoni, and it’s deff not the cheap crappy stuff! They are working on perfecting their wings! 😋 Learned some history about how, and why he started the Axe Throwing business….and how he recommends Jimmy's Pub Enfield ( Where I happen to work)to all his customers. 😊 love how he also supports small local businesses as well! He seems like a very nice, humble guy. “ I created round tables so everyone could sit and face each other. Also I don’t want people staring at a television. I like seeing them together and spending time doing things with each other” So much fun!! Especially on Black Light Fridays. Axe Man Dave has been the bestttt!!! Everyone we go! Wednesday is also super sweet and has a great personality and vibe about her!!“

The Jimmy Buffett playlist is very Southwick though we wouldn't have minded listening to something else. Overall very good experience.“

“We have zero interest in sports bars. The location, between a fitness club and a used car lot, and on the site of a failed auto dealer. is not that appealing. Still, we are happy to come here from time to time for a reliably good sandwich, salad. and/or simple entree. At the outer stretch of a strip mall road littered with typical fast food joints and chain family restaurants of appalling mediocrity. it is worth supporting a dining establishment that sets a reasonably high standard and is locally owned and operated. The service is friendly, casual and sometimes a bit haphazard with staffing shortages post pandemic. The clientele isn't just those who want to watch, beer in hand, an/or several athletic contest(s) on television. Young families, oldsters like us, and those who appreciate Monica's house made desserts, fill tables beyond the bar seats. You don't feel out of place with a non-alcoholic beverage. The chef-owner can cook more interesting cuisine but is giving the locals, apparently, what sells. Ample parking, and recently the unpaved sector has been reclaimed.“

I didn't read my bill til I got home they charged me $2.00 for the lime!! You can buy a whole lime in the store for fifty cents! They should have told me about the extra charge for next to nothing.“

“My finance, sister and fiances brother went there for the first time on Saturday, March 25th. The bartender was unbelievably rude. The bar was not very busy but because my fiance took the bartender away from chatting with her friends when he asked to have his keno numbers played, she was visibly annoyed that she had to come over to us and told my fiance to sit closer to the machine because it was "rude to have her do it from where we were sitting" and then proceed to roll her eyes at us. (we were sitting at that bar). When she came back, I asked her to not roll her eyes at us, at which point she became confrontational and stated "I'll do whatever the f I want". We left shortly after because of the poor service confrontational atmosphere and as we were leaving she yelled "don't come back".“

“We stayed the night in this hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant. Sandy was our waiter and she was super friendly. Best gluten free chicken tenders and fries I’ve ever had!!! Can’t wait to come back to this restaurant when we next stay here. I’ve also heard the flourless chocolate cake is really good too but I was too full from the chicken tenders unfortunately.“

The staff were all super friendly—Casey, in particular, was incredibly kind to us, especially my daughter. The food was fantastic. The fish and chips really hit the spot, and both the Brussels sprouts and wings were top-notch. The full bar looked great, too. I’ll definitely have to come back during some “adult time” to check it out properly. It’s always tough to find a well-made Old Fashioned—guess we’ll see!“

Michele was our main contact and I'm quite certain she could manage a wedding reception in her sleep! The value and location were two of the main reasons we chose Storrowton Carriage House for our ceremony and reception. This venue had so much included in the package price and didn't nickel and dime us for things like champagne toasts (included in price), linens and table settings (included), and the option to borrow centerpieces.
