“What a great job catering our Pig Roast! The food was awesome and great service!!!!“

“Large order placed at 1:15 on Sunday afternoon,was told 35 minutes,ok. Got there at 2, order wasn't ready until 2:45. Warm food was done first,hot dogs cooked in the microwave, cold food done last. Also she took an order, while I was standing there whating for mine,and completed that order... wtf. On top of this cluster f_&k she had no clue how to use a cash register. It's probably been 20 years since I've been there, Bob was great, Holly awesome, Chris wonderful. However Chris, I'll never go back, sorry“

“My experience with Emily’s catering was wonderful from start to finish. The tasting was wonderful and they were very collaborative, they adjusted their typical summer menu to include short rib at our request. Additionally they were courteous to our large number of sober guests and served sparkling cider for the toast, they thoughtfully left us a bottle to take home with our cake! All of our wedding guests raved about the food after and were very impressed with the quality. At many weddings guests wait around hungry for dinner after cocktail hour but Emily’s Catering’s expert serving timing eliminated that issue. Overall the team was communicative, accommodating, and delivered an excellent product. I would 100% recommend them for any event!“

“Just attended a wedding at this venue. There were 3 weddings on the grounds. Driving in was a little confusing as the 1st weddings was doing photos in the driveway once you turn in. It was difficult to drive around them, and we didn't know there were 3 weddings, so it was confusing. Once figured out our wedding was in the back, we moved forward and only then saw valets directing traffic -which was later than was actually helpful.
Once we got onto the grounds, it's beautiful. And yes you do see other weddings, but you are not on top of each other and each wedding had separate space.

The venue is lovely -there's a windmill on a small lake, there's a massive fireplace. It's stunning.

Food was delicious -the appetizers were incredible. Service was fantastic -what a wonderful staff!

“Delicious jerk chicken and brisket! The chicken in particular was cooked beautifully and had great heat and flavor. We got the combo platter at the Continuum event yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't get a chance to come over myself to say hello since I was inside, but I'm glad my husband and I got to enjoy the BBQ for lunch. See you guys again!“

“Carmela Marie catered our wedding on 9/27/25 and this review is long overdue. We first established a relationship with John and Betsy, and were thoroughly impressed by our private food tasting. Janalynne became our POC in the few months leading up to the wedding, and her communication and attentiveness was absolutely phenomenal. To this day, people cannot stop talking about the food at our wedding - especially the filet mignon!! We truly could not believe how many offerings we got to select from their buffet package. We had a few individuals allergic to gluten and our menu was almost entirely gluten free. Don’t even get me started on the dessert options we got to select. Our wedding was a bit unconventional, as it was at held at a camp (our reception is the first photo when you search them on Google), but that did not deter or disinterest them from providing excellent service. Truly could not be happier with our wedding catering - you cannot go wrong with Carmela Marie! “La Bella Vista is a spectacular venue we’ve had the good fortune of working at as full-time wedding photographers for several years now. More often than not we are there in the fall with the foliage surrounding us. La Bella Vista is a great location if you are looking for something intimate, elegant, yet comfortable and approachable. On site ceremonies are gorgeous outdoors, and moving to the reception space is wonderful because there is SO much space inside for the entrances and dance floor. One of the highlight’s of everyone’s evening is usually hors d'oeuvres and dessert with both offering countless fantastic options in a beautiful space. One of our favorite aspects of visiting is always the attentive staff and superb coordination. There is always someone looking out for the couple, checking on the progress of the setup, and keeping everything on time. They always look out for us as vendors as well, making sure we get our meals, ensuring we’re ready to go for the next event, and helping with all the little touches when it’s go time for photographing the couple, bridal parties, family and friends. We always recommend La Bella Vista when couples ask for feedback.
