“I love this hidden gem! I came upon L.B.'s by pure chance and was not disjointed! The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the place was quite clean! It seems like a place that has a regular local clientele; you'll eventually be on a first name basis with the staff!“

“Played here on 5/22/16. I was very pleased. The price was very reasonable for the conditions of the course. Most importantly, the entire course was Green. Fairways were soft and easy to play off of. Rough was plush. Greens were rolling well and have been kept in good shape. Definitely a major improvement in course conditions in the past few years. The Staff was also very accommodating, not only on the phone but in the pro shop as well. The woman running the register was training and was very apologetic for being slow, which we did not mind at all and we completely understood. Rangers on the course were also helpful, keeping an eye on a "slow group" in front of us and making sure they kept up with pace. All in all a great round of golf at an extremely affordable price. I definitely recommend playing Raceway Golf Club.“

“Let me start by saying the staff is so friendly and inviting that if I lived closer I'd be a regular regardless of the coffee and food, which is superb. The home fries are golden and crunchy on the outside and with a soft potatoey inside. They were the first thing that disappeared off my plate. My guest got her own rendition of eggs florientine add ham, tomato and feta. Great combo made to order no questions asked. Big Belly is my local spot for food and coffee. The same parking lot has been used in the winter for xmas tree sales in the past.“

“Came for murder mystery show which was wonderful. Allergies were attempted to be accommadated. Night of the event. There were several food hiccups,but did try to fix. Unfortunsately the substituted food was unsatisfactory. Scheduled food for my guest he said was veru good. Still waiting on company to return call to address the issues of the night.Dietary restrictions: The event coordinator did her best to accommadate food allegies. Dispite current hiccup situation i would recommend going if no allegies exist.“

“I was in Dayville and I was starving. I stopped into Railside Tavern and loved the welcome and the look. Huge menu, lots of seafood, beef, and pasta choices, big plus, angel hair is an option. I got the chicken picata w/ angel hair, lots of capers, no artichoke hearts. Served very hot, juicy with plenty of lemon sauce, I liked it, chicken was slightly over cooked. I then had a cup of lobster bisque, it was very good, great broth and lots of ground lobster, no chunks but obviously lots of ground lobster, yummy! For desert I had the special offering of apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Of course, awesome!! If you're in the area or passing through, definitely check out Railside Tavern, I'm still happily stuffed!!“

“My husband and I and two of our kids stopped in for dinner a couple nights ago. I haven’t been to the whistle stop in many years, but we decided to give it a shot. The food was great. Our server Lacey was phenomenal. Very sweet and incredibly friendly. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time we were there despite how busy she was. Between the food and the excellent service we will definitely be returning!“

“Everytime I go to 88’s the menu comes through. Mai tai skewers are super tender. Seafood dishes of salmon and haddock are awesome. Tenderloin tips are super tender. Only reason I haven’t rattled off more food items is because I have to make return trips to get through the rest of the menu. Good portions, good vibes, nice and cosmopolitan atmosphere.“

“We rented the Cellar of 85 Main for a luncheon following a memorial service for a family member. It was comfortably crowded - some people sat; others stood and mingled for a bit with wine and other drinks, before wee all sat down for lunch. There were 25 of us. The food was great and it all arrived right around the same time. The staff were very attentive and Kayla, the event coordinator, was good to work with to get it all planned (I live 7 hours away, so all planning was done via email). I would highly recommend it. It was so nice to have a private space where we could mingle and talk without bothering other diners.“

(I was really partial to the original.) The potato salad was more undercooked than usual. The 2 kinds of soup were superb, per usual. ??Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible to the bar, salad bar, restrooms, and one dining room. The larger dining room, that's only open when busy enough to warrant it, has a few stairs.“
