“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. “I've been a member here for quite a few years now. My lake association worked with Jamie to rent the hall for our large meetings. We had over 60 people a few times a year. It was always smooth and easy with not a single issue. I have held & attended b-day parties here with D.J.s and dancing and it can fit about 100 people. Their Friday night fish and chips during lent is really fresh and crispy. Stop in on a weekend and check it out. The service is always good and quick, no matter how busy it is. Love the locals here! I believe membership is still $5.“

“Macks catered our wedding this May and we cannot say enough good things about the food! First off, the tasting was amazing and they made us feel spoiled with the amount of food they gave us. Every single thing we tasted was so delicious and got us so excited for our wedding food. The guests raved to us about everything. Russ told us we would never run out of anything on the big day and he was absolutely right. I would recommend them 100%. Communication takes a little bit but just be patient, they are juggling a lot. We were so impressed too that all of this was done while they were dealing with trying to reopen their restaurant after the fire. The servers on the day were fantastic as well and they did a great job arranging our grazing table and serving everyone. Thank you so much for making our day beautiful and memorable. We can't wait to eat at the now open restaurant soon!“

“We were looking for some good fish during lent. Sinni's fit the bill.It was clean and loaded with TV's which would make watching a game a lot of fun. A pub menu which is fine and we enjoyed our fish & chips. The owner was tending bar and doing the cooking. Very conscientious and personable woman.We will be back.“
