Our Halligans family went above and beyond and gave us a little peace during a very difficult time. They created an intimate, personal atmosphere with comforting, delicious food and drink. Their professionalism, care, and thoughtfulness allowed us to spend time with our loved ones reminiscing about the good times we all shared with Mom, without having to worry about a thing. “My dad and I go here every now and then after work. Great atmosphere and you'll find very friendly people. Bartenders are great and they have an Ami music box so if you use that app you can play music or pay for credits at the box. Music shuts off at 8 if theres a game on though! Go Pats!“

“Wife and I were passing through from northern Connecticut to Worcester to see a concert. It was a night out without the kids and we were looking for a place to stop and have some dinner. We wanted something different than a chain restaurant. We were driving by and saw the sign, so we stopped. We were seated right away. The restaurant appeared clean. The server was very friendly and the food was good. We noticed lots of families enjoying a night out. I would have no problem stopping there again for dinner.“

“The best place for seafood in Worcester. They have a great selection of fresh products being at least an hour from the coast. It's a high end restaurant but with affordable pricing. My favorite spot for seafood in Worcester, aside from this level of quality would be to visit the fish shacks in Maine. Highly recommended.“

“We’ve lived in Worcester for almost 5 years and have tried so many restaurants. Green Island Oyster is now our favorite by far. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The oysters were fresh and delicious, crab cakes were cooked to perfection, the green curry crab lettuce wraps were light, had just the right amount of spice and were unique, the crab Rangoon flatbread was perfect and they had the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Service was great too. We will be recommending this place to all our friends and will definitely be back!“

“I came here the night before my sons funeral. A friend of mine who was like an uncle to my son was with me. We had a great time. The bar tender was great. The drinks where strong, but enjoyable. This was my first time in this bar and must say I had a good time. I would definitely come back. It was a peaceful atmosphere.“

Decent selection of drinks nice open place pretty clean tables can't say a bad thing. Shortly after we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that there was live music. He sounded great and played a nice variety of genres. This place was comfortable even for first timers and spotless. The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice.
