“We stopped in as a group for a couple drinks after attending a friend’s birthday party in Millbury. Bartender was really friendly and service was fast. Good options for beers. Shortly after we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that there was live music. He sounded great and played a nice variety of genres. This place was comfortable even for first timers and spotless. I would definitely stop in whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend.“

“The Spicy BBQ Caesar salad is amazing. It’s HUGE! I had it for lunch, dinner and lunch again! The meat was delicious and that sauce? Perfection. It seems like more of a take out establishment when we went to the Millbury location. But my coworker had the chicken tenders and she said her meal was equally delicious. Next time we will order to go, but there will definitely be a next time!“

“We’ve lived in Worcester for almost 5 years and have tried so many restaurants. Green Island Oyster is now our favorite by far. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The oysters were fresh and delicious, crab cakes were cooked to perfection, the green curry crab lettuce wraps were light, had just the right amount of spice and were unique, the crab Rangoon flatbread was perfect and they had the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Service was great too. We will be recommending this place to all our friends and will definitely be back!“

“I came here the night before my sons funeral. A friend of mine who was like an uncle to my son was with me. We had a great time. The bar tender was great. The drinks where strong, but enjoyable. This was my first time in this bar and must say I had a good time. I would definitely come back. It was a peaceful atmosphere.“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. “we had dinner here tonight. we both had the bacon cheese burgers. we like ours medium rare which can be difficult to get. they were cooked perfectly and were excellent. out server, Scarlett, was great and made our day by telling us that her papa near had recently passed and how much my husband reminded her of him. the prices were good and we would definitely come back.“
