My husband got the salmon with honey Dijon (very good) and I got the barrel cut filet mignon Oscar style (one of the best steaks I’ve ever had). We also got the Big E baked potato and creamed spinach, both phenomenal. The waitress was pretty cold and the rustic dining room was wide open and very noisy.“

“I was recently there for dinner with my wife . Food was good , service was excellent and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and we interacted with a number of them . Nice decor and spoke about coming back in summer months as the venue would be great . Unfortunately we will never go back . When I got the bill I saw that they charged me 75 cents for mustard that I requested for my deluxe burger , I was infuriated . The catsup was free but was blown away by a charge for mustard. Did not complain or even mention it . It was minor on a $60 bill plus a 25% tip . But the fact that someone would nickel and dime you like that said I will take my business elsewhere . Can you imagine doing that?“

I'm a tea guy but I like espresso martinis, and this just has chai instead which is top notch delicious. A nice drink in a Shelton dive, but the bartenders and regulars are also some of the nicest people. Come by!“

“Gusto is absolutely FANTASTIC! My family went there yesterday for my mother's birthday and we all thoroughly LOVED it. The food is incredibly delicious and well-portioned. Our server, especially, was really wonderful, very peppy, caring and attentive. Don't know her name but she is around 4' 11" - 5' 2", wears eyeglasses and is of Asian descent. She's really terrific, as are the chefs. Been wanting to visit Gusto for several years. Well worth the wait.“

“My wife and I just ate here on Saturday night and had a fantastic meal! We both ordered the scallop, shrimp and crabmeat pasta dish which was the special. The service was very friendly and beyond outstanding. Jerry makes terrific cocktails! Smaller place so it can be a bit noisy when some patrons talk loudly. Our only disappointment was the desert we ordered to go. It was this very small sour cherry tart with hardly any cherries and it was overpriced at $15. Otherwise I highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant.“

“A really nice restaurant with a great vibe. They have outdoor, indoor and bar seating. We ordered several appetizers: octopus, calamari, fried smelts and some sort of feta cheese party. All of it was delicious. For our entrees I had the 20 oz. Robert served with mushrooms, we also had a beet salad as well as a Chicken kabob. The food was really good. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely come back to try other items“

We enjoyed the burger and the fish & chips. Beautiful late summer day, enjoyed on their top deck in the shade.“

Food was excellent, but the best of all was the selection of hot sauces - amazing flavors!! Got the Mango/Cilantro margarita, very strange, the classic one is great though. I would say the meats and overall dishes are a touch dry (add sauces and youŕe good) and the portion size is controlled - I have to go try other dishes especially the fish taco. We got Quesadillas Al Pastor (best dish I think), Tacos Beef Ribeye - the meat was very tender and a little greasy, not heavily seasoned at all (add sauces and youŕe good), Quesadilla Carne Asada. For desert took the Churros with chocolate to go the chocolate was outstanding but the churros were a bit tough and soggy (theyŕe probably better straight outta the kitchen).

“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! Thank you, family, and thank you Caloroso team for helping to make the day a cherished lifelong memory!!“
