“Went last night for the first time to celebrate my birthday with my granddaughter. The food was great and we were treated to the best waiter and manager. The service was the best that i have had in a long time and made us feel so special. The veal dish I had was wonderful, Large portion for the price and my granddaughter had the chicken parm and she couldn't finish her dish. I will definitely go again and tell my friends about this gem of a restaurant“

The food was delicious. I had fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was more aldente than I would have liked, but overall, still food.

The location is small. We were a group of 5 and it was compact. Also, there are only high top seats available, which is not accessible. As someone who is height challenged (I am short) the seats were very uncomfortable. As we were leaving, they were setting up for a larger group... I am curious to see how that worked especially with a normal Saturday night crowd.“

“Would 100% recommend this place to everyone! We were looking for a relaxed & casual place to host a baby shower and the owner of crown pizza was able to accommodate all 20 of us. We decorated the inside with balloons, table covers, flowers, present table, etc. The employees & owner were so patient, accommodating, & SO kind! They didn’t make us feel rushed, helped us set up, & made sure we had everything we needed. We order pizza, salad, & sodas and it was all phenomenal!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to have a small event/gathering & of course the food!!“

“This review is long overdue, I’ve been going to Mattei’s for a long time now. Their food is outstanding. If you like eggplant this place has the best eggplant I’ve ever had. Not to mention unlike a lot of other places, Mattei’s loads up their sandwiches and gives you PLENTY! The employees are also very polite and happy to help. All of their food is delicious, I highly recommend coming here and trying it.“

“4 of us had dinner last night, food was excellent! The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta, tender eggplant and delicious sauce. My husband had sausage & mushroom pizza. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! “We dined here on a Friday night at 6:30 and place was 80%filled by 7:00. Service was very friendly and efficient. Appetizers of grilled and fried calamari were very good. The 14.95 size was very adequate for 2-3 people. Drinks were excellent also. Main course of veal very good, but bourbon cream sauce had a bit too much bourbon, leaving a bitter taste. Noice level particularly loud probably related to hard wood floor. Overall, pretty solid intimate restaurant with a seemingly loyal clientele.“

“Today my wife and I stopped into Jennie's Pizzeria for some late lunch. We entered the bar area. There were no seats at the bar because they were all taken by what appeared to be regulars, they all knew one another. Several others were standing, blocking the way to small tables across from the bar. As we tried to walk to one of these tables we were blocked by the senior citizen regulars who did not move. They would not move for my wife and only did after I spoke up and said very loudly "excuse me". They were not happy and copped an attitude but moved slightly so we could get through. It was very unwelcoming and profoundly cliquey. Sad they have to have a clique at their age. We sat down and it took forever for the one barmaid to come over. She was constantly being called by one of the regulars at the bar to get them more drinks. We ordered and the food took a while to arrive. It was good so no complaints there. The problem with this place is the clientele during happy hour. They are Senior citizens who are rude, cliquey, unfriendly to other patrons and frankly a sad bunch if all they have to do is hang out in a bar everyday to drink. Later a young waitress, who was cute came out and was met with comments from one of the older regulars at the bar. She had to walk around several patrons who did not move to let her pass with food. These people acted like they owned the place and were not happy outsiders invaded their little drinking party. As a result of all this we will never go there to eat again. There are plenty of other places which serve the exact menu close by.“

“Il Pellicano has quickly become one of our favorite spots because of the delicious food and amazing service. I have a gluten allergy and I absolutely love that the pasta isn't the usual GF penne pasta. The GF cacio è pepe is made with your choice of garganelli (or spaghetti I believe) and it's absolutely drool worthy. People at my table who are not GF thought it was equally delicious, as it's perfectly made. Also, the menu has a nice variety for fellow GF people. Highly recommend for quality eats.
