My husband and I love their Spanish options (best huevos rancheros I’ve been able to find outside of New York), but they also have eggs, pancakes, and other “classic” items. And this is just their breakfast menu! Their lunch items are just as delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast even on a busy day, we LOVE all of the sauces on every table, it’s always clean, and they add new dishes pretty often to keep their menu fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them!“

The food was delicious. I had fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was more aldente than I would have liked, but overall, still food.

The location is small. We were a group of 5 and it was compact. Also, there are only high top seats available, which is not accessible. As someone who is height challenged (I am short) the seats were very uncomfortable. As we were leaving, they were setting up for a larger group... I am curious to see how that worked especially with a normal Saturday night crowd.“

“The food is the star here. We started with the nachos - we added chicken and guacamole - and they were fantastic. My husband got the salmon with honey Dijon (very good) and I got the barrel cut filet mignon Oscar style (one of the best steaks I’ve ever had). We also got the Big E baked potato and creamed spinach, both phenomenal. The waitress was pretty cold and the rustic dining room was wide open and very noisy.“

“I had lunch with a friend here during the week as this was a location halfway between us. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The place is clean and fresh in terms of aesthetics. It's nice that the bar is separated from the main dining room in terms of noise reduction. Our waitress was attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. \n\nI had the mozzarella avocado special with breaded eggplant and tomoato and my friend had the eggplant sandwich. My friend enjoyed her meal and mine was also very delicious. The breaded eggplant was perfectly fried, crispy, but not heavy with grease and paired well with the fresh moz, avocado, tomato. Our entrees were both under $15, which is a decent deal given food prices. \n\nThe meal is served with their house cheese bread, which was tasty and a nice addition while waiting for our meal. When I asked for a box for the remainder to bring home to my little kids she was so sweet and brought me a whole other fresh serving! A nice reminder that humanity still exists in a tough world.\n\nAt least for a first time patron perspective if you want a reasonably priced meal, kind service, and solid tasting food with a decently diverse menu for an American Italian themed restaurant Old Towne is a worthy stop. I will consider returning in the future!“

“Met a dear friend from New York at Bloodroot for lunch. From the street the outside looked small, plain and not very interesting. As we walked through the gate to the “side door” we were greeted by the water view and a lovely outdoor seating area - for another day, too chilly today! We stepped in the door and were immediately welcomed by Noel. From that point on, we were cared for and fed by Noel and her amazing cooks and kitchen staff - thank you Carol, Lailla and Yordanos. The food was excellent, the decor of vintage tables & chairs, hanging rugs off the rafters (one designed and hand woven by Noel) and lovely photographs on the walls, was both elegant and homey. We wandered the book store and bought their cookbook. What a wonderful experience to share with a dear friend. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant experience to all those who love vegan offerings and enjoy an intimate caring environment. Excited to return soon.“

I came here about 3 years ago 2 times and this was my first time back since moving back to the area and one of the servers or perhaps the owner ( unsure of his exact title) welcomed me with open arms and even let me let me know that he remembered me. “My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “I drove 2 and a half hours down I-95 from Boston to check this place out. I was pretty apprehensive about the whole thing, but it ended up being worth it as the small pizza was almost as big as the large. The pizza plus the orange juice ended up costing $13 and the employee that greeted me when I walked in was so sweet I wanted to give her a hug, though I made her a little nervous doing this. The combination of the pizza and the orange juice was perfect for the pill I had to take as well! My waiter Chris came and took my order with a clipboard and even let me eat and told me to have a bite while he got my review. He even had a full camera crew filming me while I did it, meaning I was going to end up being on TV! I might have gotten a little too horny with my review though, as I might of came off as a dishonest dirty person to him lol. He was so nice though I even offered him a slice of my pizza, but he politely declined. After I ate, I got a police escort to get the full story as there were about 14 cops that saw my review and wanted to know if I was serious about it. I told them this pizza was so great, that if I ever got married, it would be at this place where I would also sign the contract. I didn't get to go back to this place for about 30 months afterwards (no reason behind it) but I never forgot how great the food and experience was! My friend Sonny Derek Porter will tell you how great it is too! Totally recommend it to y'all! This pizza is worth going to prison for!“

“Rene the owner is extremely flexible. We needed to do a lunch for a small gathering and Rene agreed to open the restaurant for a small fee. It was a lovely Indian summer day in early October and we sat in the Pergola space which was lovely. All the food starting with the appetizers and ending with dessert was flavorful and excellent. The service was awesome with very attentive and courteous wait staff. The cocktails were very good too. Would highly recommend Ola Latin Kitchen if you are in the Bridgeport CT area. “I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. Yuki Kitchen is a tiny but mighty source for authentic Asian food. Don’t drive by it….“

Our server, especially, was really wonderful, very peppy, caring and attentive. Don't know her name but she is around 4' 11" - 5' 2", wears eyeglasses and is of Asian descent. She's really terrific, as are the chefs. Been wanting to visit Gusto for several years. Well worth the wait.“
