“We’ve been going here for about 4 years and are never disappointed. My husband and I love their Spanish options (best huevos rancheros I’ve been able to find outside of New York), but they also have eggs, pancakes, and other “classic” items. And this is just their breakfast menu! Their lunch items are just as delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast even on a busy day, we LOVE all of the sauces on every table, it’s always clean, and they add new dishes pretty often to keep their menu fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them!“

I ordered the delmonico 22oz steak and a side of vegetables. 22oz wasn't the largest steak on the menu, but steak was the main option. The steak was cooked well. The service was fast and good. “Met a dear friend from New York at Bloodroot for lunch. From the street the outside looked small, plain and not very interesting. As we walked through the gate to the “side door” we were greeted by the water view and a lovely outdoor seating area - for another day, too chilly today! We stepped in the door and were immediately welcomed by Noel. From that point on, we were cared for and fed by Noel and her amazing cooks and kitchen staff - thank you Carol, Lailla and Yordanos. The food was excellent, the decor of vintage tables & chairs, hanging rugs off the rafters (one designed and hand woven by Noel) and lovely photographs on the walls, was both elegant and homey. We wandered the book store and bought their cookbook. What a wonderful experience to share with a dear friend. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant experience to all those who love vegan offerings and enjoy an intimate caring environment. Excited to return soon.“

I was polite and offered him some of my delicious Plant Pizza pizza, pizza so loaded with toppings and cheese that you need to fold it in half to eat it, but he rudely refused. “My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “Last night we were there for an early Birthday dinner for me! It's been a long time since we've dined at Ralph 'n' Rich's, but I will say that our food was delicious, & the service was superb! Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! Reservations are strongly recommended especially for dinner, but Ralph 'n' Rich's is a gem that's had staying power in Downtown Bridgeport for many years. Go there & enjoy!“
