“Went to 88 Keys with friends for an evening out at their reccommendation. We were not disappointed. It is a small place so reservations are required. My husband remarked several times how nice it was to go somewhere that was not super crowded. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed wonderful live music and a good meal. Service was exceptional and the dessert just amazing! It was a lively experience all around.“
“If you just want a nice cold beer in a small bar, friendly atmosphere, classic neighborhood gathering place and watering hold, then you’ll be happy to stop here. They offer a solid variety of beers including some quality craft choices, though only about 8-10 taps. All the standard offerings for mixed drinks and more. TV sets a plenty for a small place, darts and regular activities in the evenings to keep the crowd entertained. The owner is often there and always welcoming. They do not offer food but there are numerous takeout options easily within walking distance (including next door). I stop in with some regularity and have always enjoyed the visit. Safe and easy going, clean and friendly.“
“Sunset Grille hosted our baby shower of around 60 guests and they did an amazing job. The food was fantastic, the venue was beautiful, and Kathy did a wonderful job planning the event. I would definitely have another event there in the future. Thank you Sunset Grille for doing such a wonderful job!!“
“Between weekly live music on the mainstage and Dj’s spinning hot ? on the 1’sn2’s in the underground, this place has quickly become a local favorite. With such a great team working behind the bar and in the kitchen , the Jameson sets the bar high for service and entertainment!!“
“My friend and I went on a quiet sunday afternoon. We walk in and are greeted immediately. The waiter who also seems to be the cook and owner was so very nice. I was surprised to see the amount of vegan options at such a tiny place. The owner answered all of my questions without grunting or groaning. I had a vegan chicken deli club with vegan bacon. It was sooooo good!! I recommend this place!!“
“After a long day at court for work, I was absolutely famished. Luckily, my coworker had a fantastic idea - why not try this place that's conveniently within walking distance from the Waterbury courthouse? To my pleasant surprise, this Via al Paraiso is quite different from the one I usually go to, which actually has the same owner. While they don't offer the same ready-to-serve hot food options here, they do have a lovely menu to choose from. As soon as we walked in, we were quickly shown to our seats. And because I had a big tote filled with files, we were even given a bigger table just as we had requested. For our meal, we both decided to go with the el meson, and we also couldn't resist ordering a refreshing morir soñando, which is a delightful blend of orange juice and evaporated milk. And let me tell you, both dishes were absolutely scrumptious! I'll definitely be returning to this place the next time I have to be at court. It's a fantastic option for a satisfying meal, and I truly enjoyed my experience here.“
“Picked up food here twice. Their pizza is excellent, but it's small inside the restaurant and usually very busy. Not many places to park on the street. There was a line and barely room to stand while picking up food. Probably best to eat here as opposed to pick up.“
