I had a veggie melt with broccoli, eggplant, onions, sundried tomatoes and cheese. It was amazing! If you haven't been, great eats for breakfast and lunch!“

“Myrcene is a hidden gem within Old Saybrook! We recently hosted a graduation party here with about 50 guests and it was the PERFECT spot to host a party. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They kept all of their delicious beers, wines, ciders and seltzers flowing for our guests and allowed us to bring in our own food and desserts (this was a game changer for us when looking for a spot to host a party locally). From the time we set up to the time we cleaned up the owners offered to help and were always there to see if we needed anything. The inside space is perfect for a gathering, plus they have a wonderful outside space too for guests to sit and relax and play lawn games. I can’t recommend them enough for your next party or just for a local meet up with friends and family for a delicious drink!“

Not only do they have brunch service, pastry counter, and coffees, they have a lot of specialty grocery items that are nicely curated and add to the vibe while you’re eating. We had a burger, quesadilla & Nashville chicken stripes. My burger had a gf bun & was delicious, husb & daughter loved the stripes & quesadilla. “We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch at Fresh Salt! The lobster extravaganza had several unique and delicious selections and abundant lobster. We had a nice table overlooking the water. Our waitress, Kristen, was excellent! All the servers and cooks were extremely helpful and friendly. My wife has a gluten allergy and she had several delicious choices and the staff also made another special dish to accommodate her allergy. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be back in the future!“
