“i never really leave reviews, but i’ve been coming here since i was a baby, this has always been my favorite place to get food even being around 1.5 hours away from me, i will always make the drive for the buffalo chicken taquitos, closed on my days off but whenever my dad is in the area he knows to pick me up some!! eating here makes my whole week!“

“So I was hopeful that the change in ownership would bring good things.. but food wise it didn't. the building looks very good, the staff was also very good. now the bad news ordered the whole belly clams they were WAY over cooked the french fries were cold and looked like they had been sitting for a while. the fish tacos where also poor.. it's unfortunate I had high hopes but more than likely won't return.“

“We had a two delicious meals. The duck was crisp and not fatty. I had the special with roasted potatoes and spiraled veggies with a delicious sauce. My husband thought his paella was very good. This new restaurant’s staff and owners try very hard to please their customers. We will definitely be back!“

“Myrcene is a hidden gem within Old Saybrook! We recently hosted a graduation party here with about 50 guests and it was the PERFECT spot to host a party. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They kept all of their delicious beers, wines, ciders and seltzers flowing for our guests and allowed us to bring in our own food and desserts (this was a game changer for us when looking for a spot to host a party locally). From the time we set up to the time we cleaned up the owners offered to help and were always there to see if we needed anything. The inside space is perfect for a gathering, plus they have a wonderful outside space too for guests to sit and relax and play lawn games. I can’t recommend them enough for your next party or just for a local meet up with friends and family for a delicious drink!“

“I loved the ice cream. It was Hershey's, and the staff was super nice. The only objection that I might have is that they're dark chocolate. Ice cream had raspberry swirl. It would be nice to have just a dark chocolate. Ice cream for my wife. I had the cookies and cream with rainbow shots. Yum.“

“Its a binary option; take it or drive around the long way …DUH. The RV ticketing contrast between Cross Sound and Cape May/Lewes is night and day. On Cross Sound, rigs that are 23’ or longer you can only phone order your ticket (and pay double the price). No rhyme or reason why; operator takes the same information and enters it instead of you doing it online. Office hours are yours to guess…not listed. Just remember no guns and shut off your propan.“

“They have CBD seltzers, unlike many of the other local establishments, which is very nice for a non-drinker like myself to be able to hang out with the cool kids, so to speak.

“We frequent this spot during the summer months and the ice cream is good. Was disappointed last evening though as staff seemed in a hurry and a bit rude. One thing that should be address is the massive spider and bugs above where you stand to wait for your order . A good power wash would be good!! Love the ice cream though“

“I have been back in Dayton Ohio for a little over 2 years. I have tried to find a place that does breakfast as well as Jakes. I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.“

“Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “We have been coming to David's place for a long time - usually very good. This time (7/23) was not the greatest. Ordered sea food salad roll toasted. It was not toasted and they have changed the sea food salad since last month. It was really good before - now it's more "Stop and Shop" type salad with big chunks. Before it was chopped up small and had a delicious taste. Also the chips were obviously the "bottom of the bag" ones. Sorry - just disappointed. We drove quite a few miles to eat there.“

“Our server, Sher P was wonderful. The resturant was very busy but she was extremely intentional to make sure we were comfortable. Her customer service was outstanding. The food was very good as well. We both wanted salads (cobb salad and strawberry salad) and they were more than we could eat. Thank you Sher for such a great customer service experiance.“

The service was great,the pizza we tried was delicious and the beer which our waitress gave me a shot of to try was also tasty. Will be going back for sure.“

“The food is great the atmosphere is good. However the service is poor. We were there yesterday, May31st for lunch. When we approached the reception counter there were 5 members of the staff I said good morning and no answer from anyone, they seemed confused and lost. The guy who sowed us the outside seating availability was spacing out and looking at his watch constantly (strange). We decided to seat inside in the sunroom. The waitress assigned to our table was not a professional waitress, she seemed nervous and not willing to be working on a Sunday. She brought my wine and dropped a considerable amount all over me and the table... Apparently there was no manager onsite. The staff looked like some students and no professional staff. It is fine it is cheaper for the restaurant but at least provide them training, it is very detrimental to the restaurant having workers that don't know how to treat customers.“

“I have eaten at most of the restaurants in Southeastern CT, and have found that LA LUNA RISTORANTE & LOUNGE in New London is head and shoulders above the rest! The menus is diverse, and food and drinks are always good and presented professionally. The dining atmosphere is pleasant with table cloths, and low lighting on each table. Plus they have live music on most Fridays from 6-9 pm. Try them out...you won't be disappointed!“
