“This might be some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. My favorite flavor is dark chocolate raspberry truffle; while that’s a challenge to find just about anywhere, the few places where I have tried a chocolate raspberry flavor has been so mid, but Cowlick’s does it PERFECTLY. I’ve had a few of their other flavors and they’re all excellent. The only downside is they’re quite a bit of a drive from me so I stop in whenever I’m near the shore.10/10“

“Delicious Treats at Sift Bake Shop – Mystic! 🥐🍰

My husband, our fur daughter Chewie, and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in CT, and before heading back yesterday to NJ, we stopped by Sift Bake Shop in Mystic. It was our first time there, and WOW—everything looked so good! I ended up spending almost $90! 😆 Since we’re not from CT and didn’t know what to order, I asked one of the servers for her recommendations, and I followed most of her suggestions. I don’t know the names of everything I ordered, but I took pictures so I can remember them! 😂
This morning for brunch, my mother-in-law and I had the ham and cheese croissant, and it was HUGE and absolutely delicious! 😋 Everything looked so fresh and tempting, and I’m sure the rest of what I ordered will be just as delicious. I honestly can’t wait to try everything!
Such a great find in Mystic, and we’re so glad we stopped by before heading home. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in CT! ❤🥐“

“Great lunch! The price point is spot on for the quantity & especially quality of the fish. The local catch of the day for the fish & chips was Red Drum. Excellently seasoned batter & tasty flakey fillets. The fries were just the right amount of crispy & the salt & vinegar onion rings were def ride or die! Possibly the only fish & chip experience I’ve had that there was no need for any condiments. Well done to Peter & his amazing team. “We just took my daughter for her 17th birthday, she originally wanted sushi. She looked at the menu and immediately changed her mind and chose to try her first seafood boil! She absolutely LOVED IT! The servers are fast and friendly and the food is GREAT! She chose snow crab legs and black mussels, my boyfriend had a crab cluster combo and I had a sausage boil combo. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We will 100% be coming back!!!! Highly recommend!“

I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. On Cross Sound, rigs that are 23’ or longer you can only phone order your ticket (and pay double the price). No rhyme or reason why; operator takes the same information and enters it instead of you doing it online. Office hours are yours to guess…not listed. Just remember no guns and shut off your propan.“

“We have been coming to David's place for a long time - usually very good. This time (7/23) was not the greatest. Ordered sea food salad roll toasted. It was not toasted and they have changed the sea food salad since last month. It was really good before - now it's more "Stop and Shop" type salad with big chunks. Before it was chopped up small and had a delicious taste. Also the chips were obviously the "bottom of the bag" ones. Sorry - just disappointed. We drove quite a few miles to eat there.“

“It was our first time visiting here as a family from the UK on holiday. We had dinner at the restaurant and sat on the outside neck. The servers were lovely and did the job perfectly, with food and drinks brought to the table promptly.

I had macaroni cheese and the onions rings, with the cowboy dip as a starter. The macaroni cheese was delicious, super creamy, the onion rings were definitely some of the best we’ve ever had, and the cowboy dip was so nice and the dip was a good refreshing dip.

My family had fish and chips, and chicken burgers. They all enjoyed their food equally as much as I did.
