“Engine room is a reliably good meal every time. It's not revolutionary or anything but everything is fresh and very tasty. Sometimes it can be somewhat of a long time to get things, but that's forgivable with how busy they usually are.“

“This little Mystic gem has the delicious ice cream creations around! I had the PB & fudge sundae and my wife had the caramel lovers sundae. OMG delightful! The ice cream is fantastic, the service is quick. Not a lot of seating and it is always packed but the line moves quickly. It gives you time to make the perfect choice. The ambiance is cute, like a country ice cream shop. I love good ice cream and this place knocks it out of the park! A must try and you won't be disappointed!“
“We had an unforgettable experience! It was a snowy Saturday in late February when we arrived. We indulged in a variety of IPAs at this charming classic home, built in the 18th century New England style. The layout was superb, offering plenty of tables and seats to choose from. The bartender, Justin, proudly informed us that all the murals were original, leaving us in awe! They were reminiscent of the Wadsworth Atheneum (CT), showcasing their age and historical significance. Whether you’re here for the beer or not, this building is worth exploring with its iconic status. What an incredible opportunity to tour such a historic gem! We’ll definitely return to enjoy more delicious beer.“

“We had an awesome experience we met the new manager Lindsay, She was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our food. My friend got boneless chicken breast wrapped in lettuce, I got the buffalo chicken sandwich And we got truffle fries on the side. They also sell fair trade certified Maine root. Certified organic root beer. We will definitely come back and try this again. We are coming from Massachusettes. I get five stars for everything. Also I wanted to add the place is so clean and the girl cooking in the back Nelly looks like she actually likes her job ?“
“Came here with a group for a farewell get-together for a coworker and we all really enjoyed our food and drinks. I ordered a pint of Noel Apparition and “The OG Chick” crispy chicken sandwich with a side of Old Bay Hand Cut Fries. The food was delicious, and we all got great portion sizes for the price.I’ll definitely be back, and plan to bring others in with me! It’s a cool atmosphere, with a very friendly staff.“

“The Fisherman is our go to for date night, the servers and managers are so personable and the food is great! Zach, the head chef, went the extra mile to come say hi and ask us how our specials were. Their jumbo coconut shrimps are one of our favorites, and the home made pickles on their burgers are some of the best I’ve had. This is worth the few extra miles to the water front, and definitely the place to be for outdoor dining when the patio is available!“

She was very friendly and was quick to get my order as well as get my order to me.I had the chicken and bacon quesadillas with some ranch dip… very good and very filling especially considering it’s technically an appetizer in of it self. Previously, I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was damn well made too. It’s fairly cheap as far as food in Groton goes so I would $100% recommend this place!Parking: Lots of places to park and it has a few spots specifically for Motorcycles in front too!“

“Food was delish. Probably the best stuffed clams I've ever had! Clam chowder was good but not extraordinary. Tomato salad with buratta salad was great, but they skimped on the cheese. One small ball of it with many tomatoes. Trying to get that “perfect bite” got tougher as the cheese ran out before the tomatoes. The downside was the service not up to par. Waitstaff was friendly but we had to chase someone down to get our bill. We felt as if our server had gone on break so we finally got another to help us.“
“Parking across street large lot. Chairs tables front of restaurant before you walk in. Bathroom to right as you walk in. Hostess to left. Get a seat closer to the bar area. Views are magical. Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.“
