“If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has an array of both traditional and eclectic southern style dishes. My guest was hesitant to sit on the side by the window, so I took that seat (well insulated)and was very comfortable. We were promptly greeted by our server Chris G. He took He took my drink order, however, my guest was undecided, so she proceeded to quiz him incessantly about everything on the menu from the cocktails to the dinners and appetizers . I was a bit embarrassed. Thank goodness he was extremely patient, he literally accommodated her every request with grace!!We tried the shrimp and grits and it did not disappoint. The shrimp was plump, tender and fresh, we chose the cheddar grits! They were creamy and complemented the dish perfectly. I went with a short ribs. They were so delicious I took the last piece of bread in the basket to “sop” up the sauce. For dessert she had poached peer . pair and I went with an espresso martini.I just spoke with her yesterday , which prompted me to finish my review. She has eaten there now three times friends and she looks all the way up in Milford.hats off to proprietor AND chef-Kudos to the entire team!”
“If you've visited & enjoyed the extraordinary culinary delights of India then you know how difficult it is to get a meal with the subtly and range of Indian food in Connecticut. That problem has been solved for my wife and I with our recent dinner at Taste of Everest. This mom & pop six table restaurant left us both satisfied and looking forward to our next visit. We began with the Saffron Butter Garlic Crab which was a perfect beginning with a serving of naan. The vegetable steamed momo (dumplings) came with a variety of sauce dips including a mint dip and a 'burn your face off' fiery option. After our generous main courses it was impossible to order any desert but we will definitely do so on our next visit.”
“What a cute little place. With snow on the ground the setting could not have been more picturesque. We shared the Warm Brussels Sprout Salad, a Pasta with Eggplant and the Salmon. All were very yummy. If I was to pick nits, the Salmon could have used a little more zing.”
“Love it here ? best LGBTQIA+ bar in the state! Accepting of all, best DJs, and the best Drag Queens you’ll find!Troupe429 is a hip bar with the best drinks and great beers!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!”
“Love this restaurant. Their friendly service is something you do not see much of these days. They take tremendous pride in their food and the chef lives up to the task. Really fun dining experience. Don't forget to ask for the home made chili crisp spice! Great value for lunch. I go there and get take out 2-3 x per month.”
“Came in on a whim, I had initially been planning on eating dumplings tonight but the dumpling place was closed. I was blown away by the food, absolutely delicious and Srihari (the waiter) helped me pick an appetizer and entree that was perfect for me (I love spicy food but can't eat it as much as I used to because of stomach issues). The okra was very crispy, wonderfully spiced, and was just a tiny bit spicy. It was spicy enough to enhance the flavor but not so spicy that I'd start sweating. The tikka masala was also delicious. The sauce was very creamy and flavorful without being drowned in oil. The chicken was tender and really soaked in the flavor of the sauce. It was served with light, fluffy long grained rice. I also ordered a side of buttered naan, which was fantastic. The naan was lightly seasoned and generously buttered, making it the perfect accoutrement for the creamy masala. It added just the right bit of flavor and structure to the dish.In addition to the fantastic food, the wait staff was superb. As I mentioned, the waiter (Srihari) who took my order was extremely helpful. He helped me pick my entire order and was very attentive to my table during my whole meal even though the restaurant had a fair bit of diners in it, including a couple larger tables where he'd likely get better tips. He came by with exactly what I needed, when I needed it, from refills to to go boxes, without being overbearing. While I was eating, he'd generally leave me alone except to ask once how the food was. Then, right when I was done eating, he came by and offered to get boxes and the check. Absolutely perfect service! Srihari wasn't the only helpful staff member either, a waitress also came by my table several times. One time she was bussing another table and just happened to notice my water was low. She came by and refilled it without me saying anything even though I wasn't 'her' table. From start to end, I had a wonderful meal here and will definitely be coming back again! I would've attached more pictures, but the food was so good, I completely forgot about it until I was already done.”
“Great food and cocktails! Consistently delicious. Frequent menu additions/changes. Great happy hour. The passion fruit margarita is the perfect summer drink. Some of the best small plates anywhere. The guacamole, gambas and brussels sprouts are a must as well as the pollo chacha. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and very clean. Great place for a celebration!”
“This is my new favorite caffe! The sandwiches are incredible, they have a great coffee and tea selection, they have pastries, AND they have gelato! Everything is so good, and the ambiance is amazing. The staff are all incredibly kind and attentive, too. I love this place, 5 stars for sure.”
“It was a pleasure to meet Terra Sole’s newest bartender, Cody. He was wonderfully personable and perfectly skilled at his craft - definitely an asset to the Terra Sole team. He made us some incredible cocktails! With bubbles! We always enjoy going in to chat with our friend Alejandro, but will now look forward to seeing Cody as well.”
“The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Amanda was so friendly and welcoming. We stopped by on our way home from Cape Cod as first timers and will be lifelong customers from now on. 100% recommend!”
“Ordered take out from here recently. What a gem! The butter chicken was well cooked and the sauce was beautifully balanced and complex. The garlic naan was lovely-crisp on the edges and seasoned perfectly.Indian cuisine is not well represented in CT and many places aim for the middle to get by. Jaipore is putting out great flavors and textures that are worth the spend.”
“Norwalk needs this space so much! Great coffee in a wonderful setting, awesome shopping and the friendliest staff ever. Plus all the coolest events!Dietary restrictions: Non dairy and gluten free options available”

“Have lived in town for over 30 years, live within walking distance, and went here last night with my wife for the first time. What a mistake, as we should've been going here since it opened! Both of our meals were terrific, service was friendly, and atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We're adding this to our list our regular dining spots and will be recommending to friends.”
“I've tried both the chocolates and the ice cream, and both are absolutely delicious. When we heard they were out of peanut brittle, my friend was tearing up. That's how good it is. Plus the staff are really nice and helpful! And even the bathroom is clean, they really did a good job with this. I would definitely recommend this place!”
“Awesome that they are open for brunch/lunch as we have always been wowed by their food but used to only go for special occasion dinners. Everything we have tried on the menu has been delicious. The food is innovative and always amazing. And the atmosphere is fun, love their space. We always pop in to the British product shop next door after lunch to grab treats which is an added bonus.”
“We love rebel daughter cookies! Came in today and bought an adorable sweatshirt and almost every flavor cookie!!! We loved all of them so far our favorite is the s’mores! Will be back for more!! 25⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This is like being in Paris in Darien. The crêpes were the best I’ve ever had. The savory crêpes were so elegant and delicious. I didn’t think you could make sweet crêpes any better than the ones I’ve had in the past however they were better than any I’ve had in the past. The service was authentic in excellent. Highly recommend. New York City has nothing on Darien crêpes!”
“Coals makes pizza unlike any I've ever had. The pizza crust is about 2 millimeters thick and it's cooked on a grill (over coal I presume). It's different. Once you get used to it, and it's taken me a few visits, it's delightful. My kids love the wings which come in a few choices of flavors. The salads are phenomenal and big enough for the table to share. And the pizza is tasty and I find myself craving what's leftover in my fridge as I type this. They also have a really nice beer/wine/cocktail menu.Oh, and I shouldn't forget the Nutella dessert pizza, it's pretty special.”
“A special place! Fun and warm, serving perfectly cooked, delicious with graciousness and kindness. Comfy and delish. For the price of Panera, you can support an original, charming place with much yummier options. This is a find!”
“I have been watching and waiting for the store to open for weeks! My first time in today to pick up lunch and ended up also with dinner! The gentleman behind the counter are really friendly and they are Very helpful with suggestions to add to my platter. I could not decide, so I went with chicken rice with everything in on and a lamb rice with everything on it. Definitely NOT disappointed! The serving size for just one platter is enough to share. Having two planners I now have meals for 2 days! The grilled lamb and chicken are cooked perfectly! All the toppings for the salad are freshly cut and displayed nicely for you to view their huge selection. They were also nice to toss in the Mediterranean donuts. I will absolutely make this my go-to spot on Washington St!”
“Great people all around! The owner is fantastic for helping us out over at my rowing club by helping us hungry rowers out. These people are amazing and they have really tasty sandwiches. “Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The cowboy steak was amazing!!! 4 of us sampled each other's dishes and we were all impressed with them all.
