As the mother of an exceptional child, I was both hopeful and grateful that places like The Porch_Sweet P Bakery exist to support young adults with disabilities who are given services and resources from 0-21 then nothing thereafter. There’s a lot this place does right. We love their coffee, their pastries and a lot of their lunch items. It’s also family friendly and a favorite amongst our young children. My only fault is their breakfast sandwich. Every month I try it hoping for something better but by local standards it just doesn’t cut it. Really it’s just a bad Kaiser roll. Cannot say enough good things about our experience at The Porch at Christie's. The space is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy their endless supply of delicious baked goods, sandwiches, coffee, etc.. After ordering our food we started chatting with Andrea, the owner, who was at a nearby counter prepping cookies and she could not have been kinder!! Such a great experience and we cannot wait to go back!
